I was there a few months ago. The bartender at the RAF club asked her friend , a police officer, to escort us down to the avenue for doubles. I took that as a bad sign.
Ok, didn't anticipate the assumptions..
So I'm in Trinidad for work. There is a travel advisory for Trinidad, not the best place to vacation these days. And with all due respect to any readers from the islands, there is a reason the airport code is POS.
My concern for finding the game is based on the network being available. We got TBS. I have no idea how to set up a VPN, I'd appreciate recommendations on how to get that set up...
And you can configure them anyway you like. Even the lowly Citation I can be outfitted for absolute comfort. But then the utility of said aircraft is diminished... I guess the point would be that while many of us have been privileged to fly on one, none of us have been on all. Not all modes of private transportation are created equal.
If you are going to hold anyone accountable for actions prior to the draft then you should hold everyone accountable for actions prior to the draft. The NFL should not be acting as jurors; let the legal system play out and make their determinations based upon the findings NOT the uniformed hysteria of the casual observer.
Similar history with my younger brother. I remember the 97 season, I was living in Hawaii with my brother back in Rochester. Quite the impressive phone log as we called each other after every big play and spent just about every 4th quarter on the phone. He passed in 1999 but is always in my thoughts on football Saturday's. Somehow his memory burns brighter after the wins, I like to think he was too busy to check in on those other days.
Vs the Gators ticket prices stayed strong up to kick off. My son and I managed to find some face value tickets in the upper level day of game. You will be able to find tickets but don't count on half price.
Was there last week, sign at the stadium train stop stating your ticket to the game gives you a free ride... They are also running extra trains for the game.
I'm the Captain so odds of being on time are better than average. Did a trial run last week, if the Radisson driver is on time I might make it. If not, Squatters has a decent selection of beer...
I had no idea I was limited to only one up vote per post...
You either embrace all that Michigan football stands for or you don't. If the win loss record means more than the rest then no, you are not what I would consider a Michigan man. MSU could use a few 'good' men...
Not because I am a fan of Michigan but rather by the fans of Michigan.
The game is far from over, the season even further. There is a Michigan home in Florida in which cold beer will flow, meat will be smoked and football will be watched for another 4 months. I've never suffered a losing season because I've never suffered a season without Michigan football.
Am I happy with OUR teams performance? No. But it's MY team and they will never hear my criticism until the game is over.
I do quite a bit of traveling and would gladly accept the challenge of visiting as many of these fine establishments as my schedule allows. Spreadsheet novice but willing to learn.
Spent four hours training for a static line jump. I looked like a cat coming out a second floor window. At least Two hours before I could speak in complete sentences. Loved it, will never do it again.
You gotta love this team fighting till the end. Spent the final two minutes (or was that an entire lifetime) on the phone with the son... It's good to be a Michigan Wolverine!
Scalping tickets for the bowl games is an art not science. I've done this many times in the past including the Capital One Bowl vs FL a few years back.
I set up my cooler and chairs with my son and walked around asking fellow tailgaters if they had extras. No luck. Scalpers were selling tickets at 2x face value so plan B was to hit a local bar for the game. About a half hour before kickoff, some Gator fans we had been BSing with for an hour or two produced two extra tickets at face. Told us they wanted to make sure we were 'good guys' before they sold them to MI fans. Guess we fooled them.
Best bet is to work the crowd for tickets or just hang around one of the guys with a 'need tickets' sign. If someone stops, offer more than the scalper is willing to pay. Just keep in mind that you are spending all of your pregame time looking for tickets instead of having fun. This year I decided my time was the more valuable commodity. Not to mention I had 14 people to seat...
1989, flew Bo and his wife to Atlanta and the first round of the NCAA MBB tournament. The AD was kind enough to give the co-pilot and I tickets, behind the wives while the men took seats on the floor. That was a good day...
One more while I'm here, ran into Lou Pinella outside airpot baggage claim. Seems his wife got lost and he was stuck waiting for a ride. Nice guy but given the disparity in income, perhaps he should have given me a smoke rather than bumming one from me.

Not that there is anything wrong with that...
UTL and Jordan Poole, is it wrong to want more?

Just finished "The Broken Place" By Michael Shaara. Nothing like the other novels mentioned and only worth the read if nothing else is available.
I'm sure the NCAA would frown but it sure would be nice to allow us to set up a trip to the Big House for his mother.
502 bad gateway post....
I hit 100 Mgo points...
commits are playing in the All American games. Recruiting is dead?
There is nothing wrong with attending a HS football game regardless of any previous affiliation. It's a football game fer godsakes.
Stayed at the Regents for the NE game in 2011. Not a bad place but they did have the two night min.
of the outcome, we have this:http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2013_swimsuit/models/kate-upton/
Didn't see this link anywhere and even if already posted it's worth a repeat or ten.
If that is the impression or experience you've had here in Florida please know that the vast majority of us are horrified to hear of this.
Give Tampa another chance and I'll make sure you and your wife get the best steak dinner you've ever had. And no, it won't be at Charleys.
