one can rationally argue that the student players are the customers
Sure, you can argue it, but it's a dumb argument.
it *doesn't matter* if the result of the action by an individual adds net revenue to the university or not for it to be considered "work" requiring payment
You're missing the forest for the trees. Sure the marching band could strive for employment status, but it's unlikely that it would be beneficial for them in any way. There's only a small group of students (men's football and basketball) where they would come out ahead.
Nah, I bet the committee puts FSU (assuming they win) at 4 regardless. The first year of the playoff they had 2 12-1 teams ahead of 13-0 FSU, so I don't think they'll hesitate to put Oregon at 3 (assuming they win).
According to this link on the other thread, the ECU game is exclusively on Peacock, so no, I don't think you'll be able to watch on your local NBC channel. It's $5/month, cancel anytime for a Peacock subscription.
I bought a new car about 5 years ago (I usually buy new and keep ~10-12 years), and yes, I bought a manual because I figured it was my last opportunity to do so.
It does not any longer (was just a 1 year exception last year), we're back to a "limit" of 85 – but as others have mentioned NIL makes this a moot point.
Best hire in CFB (so far): Deion Sanders → Colorado: He's already pulling in great recruits at a 1-11 team.
Best B1G hire (so far): Matt Rhule → Nebraska: Succeeded everywhere he's been in college, rebuilt two programs in more challenging situations than Nebraska.
Most likely to flame out: Hugh Freeze → Auburn: Meh coach and only a matter of time until off-field issues undo him again.
There is no difference between dog bites between "dangerous" breeds (German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Pitbull-types) and other breeds of similar sizes and strengths not stereotyped as "dangerous" (Boxers, Labs, and Bulldogs)
A dog's overall size is the primary significant factor that affects its bite force, not breed
Irresponsible ownership is the primary cause of dog bite-related fatalities and breed is not a factor, additionally media reports are a poor source for statistics as breed identification discrepancies between the media and animal control
There are no significant differences in aggression between legislated breed groups (including pitbull-types) and the Golden Retriever control group
That's pretty much it, except if he does elect for surgery (which would end his season) it's not a foregone conclusion he goes into the draft, he may come back one more year.
I don't think anyone is upset, it just doesn't make much sense. If conference realignment truly were a concern, why wouldn't he just push out his decision date?
You can still get a silly tie-breaker between the #2 and #3 seeded teams when there are two byes, so that doesn't really matter.
I initially thought the single-bye as silly too, but it actually works out pretty nicely: if you win your division, you either get the bye or you get a home game the first round, which nicely awards division winners.
Hey Alex, would you be able to modify your Gfycat settings to not have the clips autoplay? The page takes forever to load, and when you end up switching over to HD it makes the pre-load pointless. Thanks!

Enos at least got us Sherrone Moore, so that was a high impact 2 weeks!

Because one brings in about $60M directly from TV contract payouts, and the other does not.

Jim Harbaugh
It's got to be, yeah
You think Texas Tech under Kingsbury huddled?
Yeah, but with the 12 team playoff starting that year, Michigan can probably lose 2 of those games (going 10-2) and easily make the playoffs.

Probably, seems as though this would make week-to-week calls more consistent, and consistency is key.
Heavily, which is why you probably shouldn't trust my judgement.
With "NIL", no, there isn't really an 85 player limit anymore.

Yes, 100% yes.
Here's a direct link.
EDIT: apologies, that doesn't seem to be working. Here's a picture of sad Buckeyes instead:
There are also some message board rumors that Gattis is getting forced out at Miami, for whatever that's worth.
Good lord, Jake Butt, TJ Wheatley, Devin Asiasi, and Khalid Hill all in at the same time. I forgot how good and deep our tight ends were that year.
Michigan went to the bench super quickly.
I heard it was very, very close to going in.
I am not a fan of shitty dog owners, which is the real problem here, not the dog breed.
EDIT: leaving some actual peer reviewed studies here for all the doubters and folks with anecdotal evidence:
Copulating with sharks will do that to you.

Thanks for the heads up. For those that are interested:
Take it with a grain of salt, but I recently heard that was due to Denard asking to play under center because he wanted to be an NFL QB.
Because D1 offensive coordinators – even the bad ones – know far more about football than 99.99% of people?
For the Lions? Uhh, no.
Nebraska played at Oklahoma last year actually. It was a very competitive loss (no surprise there).
Nah his buyout is cut in half (~$15M to ~$7.5M) in October, so they'll at least wait that long to can him.
Found Craig James' account. CJK5H.
Hopefully selling some PDF-only versions as well?

He's going elsewhere.
He'll be Warde's top choice though, it's a carbon copy of the Juwan hire.
There's nothing wrong with being a successful white man. However being a white man certainly entails privilege. Source: white man.

Yeah considering the source, that last sentence is more unnerving than all the other Harbaugh rumors put together.
IndyBlue's point is that Harbaugh doesn't have an agent, which I'm guessing you know, but just saying.
FYI it's Caleb Houstan, not Houston.
I was wondering the same thing, so no, I don't think you missed it.
I know I'm pedantic, but it's "Macdonald" not "MacDonald."

Harbaugggh the new Rudddock?
Nebraska also traditionally wears white pants at home, so if you're right then it sounds like blue pants again this weekend.
FTFY
To save other folks from having to look that one up:
The Norm…
RIP Norm.
Bad take
How would anyone (other than the Michigan coaching staff) know if Hart is or is not the best offensive mind on the team?
It's cute you think alcohol isn't a drug.
