Sorry to hijack the thread with a lame segue, but if anyone is looking for a great show to start as the “off season” nears, The Gentlemen on Netflix was very entertaining.

LOL..."like a substitute…

A lot of it was directed at Styles for getting burned. The one funny part (IMO) was the "review" of Corum's 22 yd TD where Styles lined up in the  A gap on the left side of our line but then moved into the right A gap "like a substitute teacher."

Literally just another phrase of instruction to the AI platform of choice..."Write an article about {insert topic here} in a voice that is negative about Michigan football."

It was an historical joke, not a political one. Mike Pence, regardless of politics, was actually a guy being pressured to step in and "make a call."

This might seem out of left field, but the first, top-to-bottom super conference is just one entrepreneur with connections and big football name recognition from pulling this together - for example, Tom Brady.

There needs to be an avalanche of correspondence to Big Ten HQ with this single line.

This was pretty much where I…

This was pretty much where I was headed with my comment.  Forget about these idiots not thinking about future implications in some abstract way…literally the next two legal steps will involve requests for detailed information on their own scouting habits. We won’t need a PI to break into their data bases - the courts will compel them to turn documents over. How an AD or President thinks that their scouting operation is ultimately any cleaner than ours is incredibly naive and stupid.

That’s an interesting…

That’s an interesting question. I don’t know how much discovery goes on when you are just going to court to block a 3rd party administrative process (eg B1G handing out a suspension without their own due process). It would be nice if it got to the point of discovery, eventually, ideally as part of blocking the B1G “ruling” as opposed to as a part of a damages claimed - because it would suck to have been damaged. If that did happen though, I imagine there would be multiple fronts we could take that would be a hard pill to swallow for the other 13 programs - first being discovery of all B1G scouting operations to determine how many teams operate in the gray area.

It has felt, from time to time, that we are treading into territory where we won’t control our own destiny. That’s probably the dark part for most people.

But what an opportunity to show the world what grit and determination really look like. Go Blue.

Does this mean that a broad…

Does this mean that a broad investigation into sign stealing habits by all 14 B1G football programs is off the table?

This take makes so much sense. The conference should be examining behaviors across all teams, not just the ones that get dragged through mud because they are to dominating.

Took my son to the game; great experience. The Stealth was incredible. Our seats were on home side so surrounded by Chiefs fans. Super nice people. Had never been to Kansas City before. Beautiful city.

John was a rock solid good guy, even at that age. Totally unassuming. Jim did kind of walk around like he knew he was the center of attention, even at that age.

No foosball, confetti guns, or open taps in the work space (sorry); but in terms of the main concept of a shared workspace, its the same general concept. Lots of inquiries on the work space.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Interesting question about…

Interesting question about the app and viewing the menu. Currently we have quite a bit of app functionality that we have suspended. If you download the app right now you will basically have the opportunity to just view the menu. That's basically our "safe mode." As I mentioned in an earlier response, we are just starting the next round of development that will be primarily based on stakeholder navigation - our customers and our employees. That process will probably yield a lot of changes in terms of presentation, be less "markety," be more focused on customer navigation needs, and also incorporate some of the app functionality we have developed but want to integrate gradually into the overall experience.

Sincere thanks for the user navigation feedback. Its a somewhat difficult concept to explain (I get the confusion) but my experience has been that people "get it" pretty easily once they are inside the space. That said - now that the pressing issue of construction is just about in the rear view mirror, we are diving back into user navigation/experience on a number of fronts.

This space is 100% available and open to the public.

Be assured that your feedback will be shared with the marketing types and used to make improvements.  Again, sincere thanks for the time you took to check it out and share your thoughts.

There is an 8,500 sq ft…

There is an 8,500 sq ft kitchen that provides enough space for 5 different restaurants to produce individual menus, each for a specific cuisine.

There is a digital app that allows a person or a group of people to order from any of the menus at the same time.

There is a full scale bar with an extensive menu of wines, draft beer, bottled beer, craft cocktails, etc.

The bar offerings are also part of the digital app.

There is seating for 250 people inside and (soon) will seat about 150-200 outside

There is a food truck that will be used as the outdoor bar.

There is a dedicated event space that can seat 100.

There are 17,500 sq ft of co-working spaces and private offices. This is separate and apart from the dining space.

It's not a food hall or an event hall; it's not 33,000 sq ft of space that is used for a bunch of different things in a chaotic fashion. It's 33,000 sq ft of space that was divided for the specific purposes noted above; there are a number of ways these spaces overlap...happy hour comes to mind (the gathering spot is in close proximity to the work space.)

In a post COVID-19 world, the way the space is designed seems to make sense to most people.

Hope that helps.

Apologies to the people of…

Apologies to the people of Prince William Sound if this is still too soon...best nautical disaster joke ever (IMO) went something like this:

"...turns out that the Exxon Valdez was being piloted by the third mate at the time of the crash. Let's think about that...Gilligan was a first mate."

I don't remember the comedian, but it seems like a line that would have been well delivered Norm Macdonald, so there's that too.

Having somewhat of an…

Having somewhat of an insider's view on the whole thing, as far as replacing Lucky's with another market, there has to be a market that wants to be there... as far as I know, no market stepped up to take on the space.

Regarding the planned use, that will be a function of business expertise. Having a look and feel that is more compelling than a "grab bag of usages" will be a matter of execution...time will tell!

It’s a flex space -  co…

It’s a flex space -  co-working space with a special emphasis on digital technology, XR production and events. It will also have large kitchen (think 5+ restaurant lines) for onsite, take out/delivery and a bar. On-site events are a big part of the space plan and design.

NorCal Michigan graduate (and NorCal Michigan graduate (and athlete) here whose daughter plays on the CMU lacrosse team. I am not aware of many Chips out this way. Is my impression correct on that?
Huge Win Field hockey always starts year battling UNC and Wake Forest and for the most part puts up a great fight but doesn't come out on top. By the looks of the play-by-play they controlled a lot of the action and had some great goalie play (nothing new there). This team is going to be very tough again this year!
Michigan Field Hockey Don't have points to start new post. Field hockey team just knocked off #1 North Carolina on penalty corner after time expired. Goal broke a 0-0 tie. Go blue!
Oakville Grocery

Go to Oakville Grocery, customize picnic lunches for all, go to one of the wineries and have a picnic lunch at the awesome outdoor eating areas they all have....pretty affordable, even for Napa

Funny you brought that up - I Funny you brought that up - I was thinking the exact same thing. I listed to a few Maryland games in non-conference and all they did was talking about how he transferred from Michigan. He Is a starter and averaging 10 or so a game but as a team they are 1and 4 out of the last 5. The net impact of the transfer just keeps sucking for him. This would have been his senior year, right?
That guy is actually a That guy is actually a current assistant coach at Indiana. I believe he had to take over a game last year when Crean got ejected. Speaking of lip reading, I think at one point I did in fact see him say "don't get caught watching the paint dry"
