I agree with you. The roster management/scouting has not been good in my opinion. You cannot build a team via the portal if there are going to be restrictions to transferring players in. If youre going to be a top level team with transfer restrictions, you need to change your recruiting strategy.
Can you name another strength and conditioning coach in college? NFL trainers are just as important. Herbert is an associate HC though, thats the difference
Also, dont forget the regents who pulled a 11th hour back office deal to suspend Harbaugh during the most critical stretch of the season. I hope they enjoy the extra revenue Harbaugh brought them by building a national championship team, because they stabbed him in the back along the way. Jim in the end needs to do whats best for him, but if he stays...I surely hope he can address the constant rumors. You know (we have seen it this year) that there's people being paid to negatively impact Michigan. Squash the talk and move forward.
I hope the whole gang stays together for one more year, but if Jim does leave I hope he is the only one who does.

I only really know Lake Huron cities. Bay City, Linwood, Kawkawlin area is close to some bigger cities, has decent schooling, and a lot to do.
I live in NE Michigan, on Lake Huron, with a young family. Home prices have gone way up, but they arent even close to the West Side of the state. Lake Huron is just as beautiful, but the northern towns arent as easily accessible as the westside of the state. As you get further north of Tawas you will start to see lakefront home prices fall. Alpena is really the only "large" year round city in NE michigan, but big lake property is hard to come by.
