If you can't get your own team up against Illinois AT HOME, how are you going to do that when you're away?

Emotional fuel only carries you for so long.  Eventually it has to give way to raw talent and coaching.

And last week, our "horrible" game against Maryland (who has an offense that actually can hurt you) ended up being 38-7.  If that's "horrible," I can live with it.

One of the greatest regrets of my life...

was on the road about 20 minutes ago heading home and was listening to Blaha and the sparty homers having a melt down. No idea why I didn’t drive around the block a few times to cherish what must have been an epic ending to their broadcast.

Today was a good day. It's easy to forget how fun college football can be when you normally spend a lot of the day in angst and anguish over your team. Good job Lovie and BP.
