It looks good for Michigan landing 6'1" 358 DT Oregon St transfer
Jordan Whittley
Apparently, he's a "space eater". Does NASA know about that?

6’1” 358??? Big papa. Send him our way.
That’s a big beaver.
Nice beaver
Thanks, I just had it stuffed.
Shaved or natural?
“The Wolverines are the heavy favorite"
"Michigan football is by far the biggest name, and with the Wolverines need on the defensive line, it makes a ton of sense."
he nearly makes a ton of something.....
Find my keys and we can drive out
+1 for reference to old, old junior high joke.
Don’t know how good he is but we need the bodies
Heck, just plugging up a gap against OL foes would be a good thing.

If somebody could embed this for me I would greatly appreciate it. I still can't figure it out.
1. On the youtube page, click on "SHARE" under the video. This will open up a new window.
2. Click on "Embed" and copy the embed code that opens up.
3. When you go to MGoBlog, click on the "<>Source" button. Paste the embed code into the comments window.
4. Preview your post to make sure it looks right.
Thanks. I too have never learned how to embed on the new platform. The older site was really easy and I did it often. So I’m finally going to get serious and copy/paste these instructions into a note on my phone and try it soon!
Also, if you want to add any additional text, wait until after doing the above steps. It gets pretty screwy if you try to embed the code after already typing a comment.
I say again - we are probably going to want players on the roster who can in fact be TWO defensive tackles in a pinch, and he sounds like he may fit that bill, so yes, please.
Do you mean the size of two defensive tackles?
True nose.
Sounds good.
Looks like he's eating a lot more than space.
Go eat double teams and don't get moved back. Do that, and he's earned that scholarship and then some. Might even earn some NIL payola from local restaurants.
Yes, but can he pla- nevermind, it looks like in fact can. Sign him up!
That would be terrific!
He can be my "wingman" anytime we're bar hoppin' and I'm buying too !
Earlier in the week when he was discussed, he was listed as 333 pounds. At this rate, he’ll be 400+ by the fall.
He will be a planet by the bowl game.
wouldn’t be disappointed. need a guy to take up that much space
I’d be pretty stoked if we made it to a bowl game this year, too.
Apparently the 333 is from 2019, when he last played a full season.
What?
Hurst was known for an unbelievable first step and technique which saw him teleport into the backfield. While not terrible against the run, he was nobodies idea of a space eater or plug in the middle.
Um no.. next
lol, next what?
His shirt would look like a dress on me.
Props to EZ Creature for bringing consistent and timely recruiting news to this board.
I've been gone for a while, since March 17 of last year when I was furloughed from a job I had for about 25 years. Michigan/college football is my hobby. I have felt like getting back into my hobby lately.
Seeing Steve Clinkscale at Michigan has encouraged me too. I'm hoping he will get Domani Jackson to flip here. But Jackson has a personal meeting set up with Nick Saban when he goes on his official visit to Alabama.
Is Clinkscale > Saban? I want to hope so. But......

Welcome back, enter at your own risk.
I'll keep my arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.
I am encouraged by this staff and what their potential is for brining in talent.
I’m just concerned the window is small. Harbaugh needs a solid season now.
I think Michigan is going to be 4-0 when they play Wisconsin. But the game is at Wisconsin. I'm expecting much better offense with Matt Weiss involved, much better. And I am 100% certain there will be night and day improvement in LB play and DE play with the two new coaches at those spots. Will that be enough to win at Wisconsin? .....Maybe. I hope. I hope.
Make your breaks and catch few.
Dax is going to be a difference maker.
Agreed Michigan will be 4-0. Wisconsin plays Penn State the first game of the year, plus they have to play at Notre Dame the week before they host Michigan. Our boys will have a very good shot at knocking them off. The schedule makers finally gave us a break.
They might be 3-0 and ranked well inside the top 10, or they could be 1-2 and trying to pick up the pieces. Either way it should be an advantage for our guys. If they can win that one, they are 5-0 and will have a legit shot at running the table until they play OSU. Momentum and confidence is huge in college football and things are setting up nicely for this team if they don’t slip up early. Lose to UW (but they have already lost a couple of key players) and it could be a rough season. At least Michigan will have a shot against Wisconsin. I’m not guaranteeing a win, but I think they will have a better shot than most people think.
I didn't know Wisconsin had ND the week before Michigan. That's tough for them.
But poor Penn St, after having a terrible season they open AT Wisconsin. They might get run over.
I’m not sure who to root for in the PSU vs Wisconsin opener. I just realized Michigan has to go to Happy Valley and I’m sure that will be a night game/white out.
We might be in for another 8-4 type of season, but I’m trying to confident, borderline delusional, and that’s okay. It’s better than the misery of expecting to lose every game.
Wisconsin was crap last year. They need to improve a lot from last year to run teams over. According to the 2020 F+ ratings (FEI combined with SP+), Wisconsin had the # 70 offense in the country. Were totally stonewalled by all decent defenses they faced. The only teams Wisconsin could beat were bad defensive teams ILL (defensive F+ rank 98th), MICH (88th), MINN (87th) and WAKE (79th). In fact, they were so bad on offense in 2020 that Chryst is taking over play calling duties in 2021.
I can't wait to see him do a Snow Angel in Columbus on the field after Michigan upsets OSU all because of him sacking the OSU QB in the snow to end the game.
Great, but can he play CB?
He's got quick hands. But his recovery speed is, like Bob Eucker would say, "Just a bit outside".
We just need ten more guys like this. Then, Wisconsin and Iowa won't run on us any more.
