College football playoff gear
Has anyone found a good site for playoff apparel? Mden, fanatics etc. all seem to have very limited options. I thought I was getting one of the limited hoodies that was released a couple weeks ago, but then I received the email that there was a computer glitch and my order was cancelled.

Google can help

Yeah I checked that site. Not much there. More so looking for Jordan gear. I guess maybe there just wasn’t a lot of different things made.

Meijer. Walverine be damned!

it's insane how bad this gear is. either pick between 'Michigan' in goofy type font or have the OSU logo on it. not knocking you, but the gear itself is just not covetable

I think the cool stuff is just sold out entirely. If you look at the less popular teams like TCU and Ohio State, they have some nicer high end stuff that I can only assume Michigan had but sold out of.

Yep. Nothing says I’m a true fan like a Gildan branded Michigan shirt. Although I have a drawer full of faded Jordan T’s that didn’t make it a season before they looked like I bought them at goodwill.

The only good stuff I have found are the $150 tech hoodie you mentioned which sold out instantly on the Nike app / fanatics and the like a couple weeks ago and the Tech crewneck for $115 which still says “coming soon” on the Nike app. You’re not going to find any of the main gear like those two at M Den — doesn’t make it there.
I wish Nike made more of the real cfp gear and less of the second-tier t-shirts and sweatshirts more bowl specific that we all see — but it’s apparently not their MO

Honestly, I have been very underwhelmed by Nike/ Jordan. Initially they seemed to put out some good stuff but now they put out very little. I don’t even know the last time they released a pair of Michigan themed Jordan shoes.

Similar to your point, it was awesome when we first switched back to Nike/ Jordan to have the feeling of being unique and back on top and the like — especially with the years we went through with adidas being associated with such bad football. Unfortunately for us, adidas became a much better brand putting out great shoes and gear almost immediately after we went back to Nike.

The demise of highlighter maize is the only real positive I noticed from the switch.

I just bought my son a pair of Michigan colored Jordan’s for Xmas. While they don’t carry the M, they are bad ass and actual leather. Hell, I almost feel like they were worth the $150.

Lol. He was king of the apparel topics.

FWIW, the Jordan tech gear did "make it" to MDen....but sold out immediately.
MDen actually oversold the product - I was one who believed I got one and then was later notified they did not have the inventory to meet the order - but gave $50 gift cards to those in that situation, which I thought was honestly great customer service.
No idea why Nike produced so few though.

This seems to be a trend with Nike. They under-produce their shoes too and it drives up demand (with secondary market selling) which makes them seem more popular than they probably are. I found one of those tech zip hoodies that they were selling for $150 on eBay but the guy wants $350 for it. Apparel is going the way of event tickets apparently.

It did make it to the mden but it lasted about three minutes. I was lucky enough to get the hoodie and it is much warmer than it looks.

While I don't miss the gross colors, I miss how the Adidas shirts fit. The Nike/Jordan ones all feel weird, like I'm wearing them backwards. And they are soooo short.
Being tall is great except when buying clothes. Finding LT and XLT is nearly impossible, and the Nike stuff barely covers my dad curves. Adidas shirts are significantly longer.

Waiting for that "National Champion" gear in a week. just give it 12 days.
December 29th, 2022 at 11:03 AM ^
Hopefully if/when that time comes they put out some nice gear. Jordan has missed the mark in my opinion on capitalizing on selling Michigan playoff gear.

Forget Nike if we win a national championship. Contact your local tattoo artist

I already had to shave half of each of my eyebrows, so what the hell.

It sold out immediately. I really wanted the therma fit college hoodie. It went from “coming soon” to “sold out” immediately. I even selected to be notified when it would be available when it was still “ coming soon” but didn’t even get a notification. I can only find it on the Nike app. It was initially on MDen, but t disappeared from the site before even being sold.

Yeah I thought I was getting the hoodie. Paid for it and everything. Then the email came about how the website accepted too many orders and mine was cancelled. I did get a $50 gift card to the mden as an “apology” though.

Can you post a picture of it? I can't even find it listed (as sold out)...
December 29th, 2022 at 12:35 PM ^
Are you on the Nike app? Type “Michigan Wolverines” in the search bar, and it’s the first product.

FWIW, it was sold on MDen but sold out immediately.

Nope. I’ll be wearing my paper thin jumpman hoodie that I paid $60 for at the M den right before kickoff at last years buckeye game. We haven’t lost a game when I’ve worn it. And no, I didn’t wear it versus Georgia so I take full responsibility for that one.

Hey, don't screw it up this time. This is *important*.

Stop trying to dress up on NYE, fancy pants, and just wear the damn hoodie!!
December 29th, 2022 at 11:21 AM ^
I bought about 100 of the hoodies. Anyone interested? $300 each! Good price!
December 29th, 2022 at 11:37 AM ^
What about shipping and handling (I've always wondered, BTW, exactly what is meant by "handling")?
Another potentially profitable angle for you to explore.
December 29th, 2022 at 11:52 AM ^
I don't charge shipping and handling, but I do charge a $100 restocking fee in the event of a return.

I think there are only limited options generally for CFP gear. Whoever made the Nike/Jordan CFP gear this year needs to be fired because it was awful. MDen put out a very limited amount of the sideline CFP gear but it was like $150 for a hoodie
December 29th, 2022 at 1:06 PM ^
Hard to get these things from the sweat shops to the US in time so they don't make many. Instead you have plenty of options of hideous bowl game tee shirts that are made on printers in basements across America.

Try Dick's Sporting Goods website. Put in Michigan on the search bar.
Good luck 🤞

there is a whole Reddit meme thread on how hard it is to find that gear

I'll be wearing the white one from last year. Mden had it up for a hot minute and I managed to snag one. Also got denied from Mden on the current release but I'm hoping to hit on the Nike release if it ever happens.
