Just looking at that frog gives me PTSD. My son and I were at that game but due to a mixup, our seats were on the TCU side. They gave it to us good the whole game. Now I want them to get rolled. Some positive waves, though. I had the privilege of sitting near Braylon Edwards on the flight out of Phoenix and spent time talking to him. What a cool guy and an unforgettable experience. Go Blue!
I can’t conceive of Michigan having a backup QB who could come in and run the offense even semi adequately. But maybe it’s just the negative waves I’ve been riding since I got back from AZ.
Curious why M’s offensive schemes do not include crossing routes, etc. The middle of the field seems to be largely ignored in the passing game. (But I am so happy with this win today. Suck it, Spartoons.)
Right after the game I hit up mgoblog, and the top banner ad was so ironic. I can’t get the link to embed, but the top banner ad said “MSU Depression”.

Used to be that on Saturday I’d be nervous all day that Michigan might lose. Now I expect it and hope to be surprised by a win. Sad what this program has become.

Thanks, Bronx, for having the mental and emotional wherewithal to turn an unflinching mind's eye to the game. Personally, my psyche is still too bruised and battered for rational thought.
I had the sleep apnoea surgery about 10 years ago. The recovery was hell on earth, but it probably saved my life. Plus I can sleep without a mask glued to my face.
I started out using a photo of a wave because I live very close to Lake Michigan and couldn't imagine living away from it. However, it morphed into the Oddball thing after watching the movie for the umpteenth time one night. Also, the M fits on his hat pretty good.
Like everyone else, I'm curious why Beilein didn't call a timeout at the end and let the team's top bricklayer jack it up there for the L. Maybe he calculated the chances of them successfully inbounding the ball..
Anyway, very disappointed with the 2nd half. We need bigs who don't get pushed around.
That was a really painful half of basketball. The defense has been surprisingly better, but the offense. Wow, what a mess. Did Irvin ever see a shot he didn't like?
Like you, I live in the boonies with no access to cable and I refuse to pay for satellite. VIPBox.tv was my go-to. Used to be I could watch games on this as long as I had Adblocker installed and watched out for pop-unders. Without Adblocker you'd probably get a bunch of nasty spyware in a matter of minutes. Now most of the windows won't even load unless you disable Adblocker. But worth a shot if you're desperate.
OSU has really athletic bigs that can slash and get to the hole. So I can see where Motta wants to take them. But UM just seems like such a mish-mash of oddy-bodies. I'm no basketball guru or anything--just my impression.
When I watch OSU or Illinois play, I see what they're trying to do. They're young, big, athletic, with a lot of talent. They just need to gel as a team and get some experience under their belts. I have no idea what Beilein is trying to build with this team. It's like the Island of Misfit Toys.
I grow weary of that thinking because they do indeed put it behind them, but they do not move on. They don't grow from their bad performances and make adjustments so it doesn't happen again. I really love Coach B. He's a class guy. But so is my dad...
I grow weary of waiting for this program to become real. How long are we going to have to deal with this mediocrity thing? Oddball is ready for some positive waves man...
Best win in a while for this program. They truly dominated an SEC defense. Massive kudos to the coaching staff and to Rudock, Drake Johnson, Houma, Chesson, and the rest of the team. A very satisfying day.

I have no words other than Go Blue!
Let’s go away from what he’s been working and try some fancy shit! Yeah, let’s do it.
This whole broadcast is a sloppy wet kiss for the Cowboys.

Not an interview...

With just a little creativity, this offense could be special.
It’s basically the same philosophy as during the Hoke regime. The plan is fine, we just didn’t execute. Tarik Black even said it.

Where is the athleticism? Where is the toughness? Where is the stud player everyone wants to come see?
Coach B's teams always look the same--skinny, average athletes who can't make their own shot. I weary of being patient.

Per usual, it was a great read.
Go Blue!
UM has no Barrett, Samuel, or Weber. The difference in athleticism at these positions is obvious.
Gack, that woman's mouth. I can't stand to listen to her. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Shaddup!

All hat, no cattle Hilarious. Never heard that one before. Kind of like a ten dollar haircut on a ten-cent head.
Do I detect a subtle Jerry Jeff Walker reference here?
I hope Mork takes it like a man

Still love me some Haven.
You for the /s. BH is a dump.
Said the guy with zero MGoPoints EDIT - like all of us...
But they didn't actually win one. They won the play-in game and lost in the first round of the tournament.

Do they pressure the other team when they inbound the ball? Because we are sooo good at that. /s

That weak scheduling didn't help last year with NJIT. When was the last time any of our rivals lost to a team that didn't even have its own gym?

Or at least, you know, make an attempt to.
That has always mystified me too. Doyle especially. Geez...
The program will be like this until they decide to change it. It's really not a mystery.
... at least they might make the NIT.
There is your signature win. Go Blue.

What's up with the all Florida all the time nature of this broadcast. After we score, they show highlights of Florida.
