Come on now Wolvie

You have been negging the players and Coach B the entire game in this OP.

Chill out.

It's a game.......our kids performed very well against a top 10 nationally team.

Yep

Way to go

Hey Mom

Might you suggest that they grow the hell up?

Downer Duo

What a fucking copout.......that's a coward's way to look at this game.  So, if we lose then you can say "We told you so."

That Really Blows

What else can you say?

Pekovic Was Incredible

But Dookies barely held on.

I root for Duke because my daughter graduated from there in 2003 so I have a substantial capital investment in the school.

Watch out for Pekovic in the next several years.  His parents' deli is going to be a popular place.

It Seems Pretty Sad to Me

That anyone would go to this extent to file a frivolous law suit as a joke.  Notwithstanding the stupidity of the allegations and the absurdity of the grammar, it still took the plaintiff some time to prepare the summons and complaint plus a few dollars filing fees.

I can only conclude that this is a really stupid joke and the plaintiff has serious emotional issues.

Perhaps Samantha Schacher is really a guy with a very small dick.

Tad Overweight?

I never really understood how he carried so much weight on his frame even though he was a vegan.  My experience is that vegans are generally on the slim side.

He really looked like a guy who loved his meat and potatoes.

Going to Botsford Cemetary

In a bit to insert American flags at the tombstones of the 34 great men and women who served in three wars:  WW1, WW2 and the Korean War.

I will do it with pleasure while thinking of each of those brave Americans who contributed to the great lives that we are able to lead today.

The Girl Next Door

Was not like Kate at all.  Such a sweet young lady.

What's That Old Baseball Adage?

If you're not cheating you're not trying hard enough?

He's got that action down at any early age.

Hello Indeed

This is a very nice committment.

Traveling Man

Why not check out a few more schools and geographical areas when the opportunity arises?  Hopefully he will see the light and return to the place that he committed to.

Go Blue!

Great to Get Rescue Dogs

They are so appreciative of their new buddies.

Right On Brother

Pos Bang You

I Assumed So

But what a bummer.  The fake is much better.

I Don't Know Whether

You can blame Byslma for the Pens' fans not getting the players up for the games like the Bruins' fans do.  I mean, really up.

It's my 44th Anniversary

Heading to the new Knight's near campus.  It is a completely different demographic than the original Knight's on Dexter Road.

Absolut Citron on the rocks.......it's called a Knight's pour.......generallly about 6 onces, which is partly why Knight's is so popular for the older folks.

I Find it Difficult

To get too excited about this situation.  The kid is from Ohio and made an early decision in favor of Michigan apparently without looking too hard at other top schools and prior to getting an offer from dreaded OSU.  We will prevail if he perceives that UM is the best place for him.  If not, then I wish him the best with his future.

I am not really in favor of the Hoke concept of cancellation of an offer if a verbal committment visits other schools after making a verbal to UM.  It seems as if it is an unrealistic concept for a coach that went 7 - 5 last year.  On the other hand, if it only means that he will then open recruiting for that position, that seems more realistic.

Go Blue!

This Subject Would Naturally

Generate some classic lines.

Thanks for making the subject even more humorous.

I cannot believe that the police did not identify this miscreant, though I guess if he is in a half-way house, they didn't desire to put him in deeper shit.

The Billboard

Thanks for Posting

A really touching story.

There was also a segment last night on local NBC News regarding UM Hospital taking a pro bono case of a young Palestinian boy who was severely damaged by a bombing in his homeland.  He will be here for a couple of years with numerous surgeries all performed with no cost to the child of his family.

Thanks for the Video Clips

I have always been partial to tall tailbacks (think Erik Dickerson) with good weight.  He fits both of those.

The run at 2:25 would look very nice in Maize and Blue.

It would seem to just add more competition at tailback if he chose the Wolverines.

That's a Great Crib

Your life is about to change in such a positive manner you won't believe it.  Best wishes to you and your wife. I hope that everyone is healthy and happy.

We now have two grandchildren (age 3 and six months).  It all makes life so much more fun and rewarding.  Unfortunately, they are in Laguna Beach so trips are long.

This kid will understand "Go Blue" moreso than most.

Rock that crib!

I'm With You Don

There seems to be a lot of negative shit going on here.  Funk was doing something right with those two guys over the course of the past three years.  The O-line is a complicated area where chemistry is very key.  The down years in recruiting O-line studs (I hate to mention RR's name) created a terrible depth situation.

I would tend to have my glass half-full and think that Funk will mold the current kids into a cohesive unit.

Hoke has exhibited an ability to get some highly ranked kids and the addition of Nussmeier should assist in the future.

But again, who knows what goes through the minds of 18 and 19-year old kids when they visit various campuses?

Winovich > Ryan?

Now that is a very nice comparison.  My fingers are crossed hoping that occurs.

I Agree

And how does a Bucky get up to 250 points on this blog?  Hanging out here to compare OSU talent to UM's?

Something just ain't right there.

I forgot

Makes sense to me.  Getting drilled on the head over a long period of time is not a good thing.

Think of most boxers in their later years.

Jeff VanGundy

The guy who parked his old VW next to all of the expensive cars owned by Knicks players?  It was one of the better photos in the New York Times many moons ago.

At least Tom Gores is stepping up and exhibiting that he is not afraid of spending top dollar for someone that he thinks can turn the mess that is the Pistons around.

Thanks For the Interview

Yours on 11W was just as entertaining.

Beating the Bucky's down there would be a huge feather in Hoke's hat.

Fans can dream can't they?  I dream of John Cooper's return.

What a Shame

My thoughts and prayers to the victim and his family.  It really doesn't matter what caused the confrontation and yes alcohol was probably involved.  However, even after a couple of men get into fisticuffs, when one of the combatants hits the floor kicking him in the head is beyond the imagination of a reasonable person.

Douche Nelson is going to have a lot of time to think about his actions.  First, when the legal proceedings against him commence leading hopefully to a conviction of some sort.  Then the real fun begins for Nelson if he is convicted and spends some time behind bars.

I Think

That Beilein is very happy in Ann Arbor and would like to retire here.  Both he and his wife really love the community, bought a beautiful house and are enjoying the community.

That Surprises Me

But proves yet again that one cannot just make assumptions about these kinds of things.

I just hope that the injuries and fatalities are kept to a minimum. Protect the kids most of all.

This MIke Brown

Is going be very rich if he continues to sign multi-year contracts and then getting fired before the termination dates.

But never as successful at that game as Larry Brown.

Another Good Kid from the Catholic League

Where the schools generally have academic admission standards.

We are starting to get some good depth at a position that was so thin a year ago.

This is Yet Another Episode

Of crazy things going on world-wide.  The situations in Nigeria and Afghanistan are beyond description.  Then think of North Korea.

It seems that someone gets pissed in our country and then takes it out on innocent people.  The perpetrators have used guns, knives and even explosives to kill men, women and children without being discriminatory of any age group.

It is happening in small towns, large cities and now East Lansing, which I thought was a peaceful place where folks did not lock their doors.

Pray for the injured and the families of those killed by this madman.

Every Game is a Spectacle

The band is great!  The team hitting the banner gets the juices flowing!  The first score.........as long as it is the team in blue shirts.  Hail to the Victors!

We will return to excellence in the very near future.  Book it Danno.

Why not take advantage if you can afford it?  This is a good opportunity.

Go Blue!

Very Nice Bloodlines

Not so many stars?  I suspect that we will see a lot of him on the field.

The Guy Has One Thing

In his resume:  he won at Vanderbilt, which is no small feat.

Now he is at PSU, which has a nice platform but for the tawdry Sandusky affair which sullied the entire administration.

He seems to have some ugly pimples from his days at Vandy that probably would have made him unacceptable at PSU if those were known or disclosed prior to the hire.  So he has questionable character.

On the other hand, he must be a great recruiter.  Can he coach as well as he recruits?

I welcome any other talented teams to make the B1G a stronger conference.

Shakey Jake Did Indeed

Die several years ago and has not been on the Ann Arbor scene at all.

Bolivia is as good a place as any rather than farting dust.

Sam Never Seemed to Have a Chance

Here as it seems that the other shirts were generally tackling him two yards behind the line of scrimmage.

It Seems to Me

That the Burkes did a fine job raising Trey and that he has followed their lead with appropriate financial management as assisted by the management company.

Let's hope that he continues in that manner throughout his career.  One never knows how short that career can be.  Stuff happens that leads to no more playing time.

The percentages of NFL and NBA players that ultimately have financial problems is stunning.

It sure was a strange post.  Jake may be setting a record.

How Does That Work?

I believe that StubHub charges a 15% fee for selling tickets.

So then StubHub would put a 50 cent stamp to send a check to the seller in the amount of $0.42?  That's not a good business model.

My Guess

Is that alcohol was somehow involved before the interview.

That's how it goes then.

It's Good to See

That they are taking the drought in SoCal seriously.

Rethinking

That planned trip to Brazil.

Anything that can go wrong seems to down there.

Think about how this reads in the obituary.

He Looks Great to Me

So does she.

This Kid has Anger Management Issues

That need to be addressed.  If not and if this represents his normal personality, then he is in deep shit.....as is whatever community he is in.

Thanks For Pointing that Out

I sincerely apologize it that offended you in any manner whatsoever.

Having Dinner With Some of Her Family

Double Trouble.........thanks for picking it up.

Bragging?  Not really, but humored by it a lot as are the relatives.
