This was great to read,

This was great to read, thanks for posting.

Neither will be back, they

Neither will be back, they used up their chances to get back in good graces with the program.

I think the key distinction

I think the key distinction from the MSU cases and the Ott case is that Ott played more than 30% of the games (or 3 games, whichever is greater), where none of the MSU guys did in the seasons that are in question.

All three have to have degrees completed by the end of the school year also, I don't know if this played a factor in the Ott case.

Hollis was on the committee

Hollis was on the committee that hired Dantonio. It was Izzo, Simon, Hollis and former MSU FB player and Alan Haller.

Mason's name was attached for ceremonial reasons but he was out of running the department by that time after the mess of the JLS era.

That was Todd Schultz. Burke

That was Todd Schultz. Burke was the QB in '98 and '99.

It's awesome that

Bo dressed the exact same way for practice and for games. Zero fucks given.

Actually, MSU will call out

Actually, MSU will call out opponent's audibles and shift defenses accordingly. They did it nearly every time Armstrong audibled on Saturday. I posted about it below.

What you noticed was the MSU

What you noticed was the MSU LBs reading audibles and changing defenses accordingly. The defense puts a large amount of time into studying opponents' audible calls and adjusting accordingly to different coverages. It's fairly simple to do with a young QB like Armstrong, same philosophy as flipping CBs and having Waynes play to Armstong's right hand which MSU rarely does.

They have a variety of hand signals to change defenses--palms to the helmet, back of the hands to the helmet, certain number of hand claps, etc. Everyone on the defense makes the same signal to acknowledge the change. It worked really well against Saturday. Nearly every Nebraska audible went for little gain.

As to whether or not the clapping is intentionally done to "cheat" or throw off the offense, I'm assuming nearly everyone on this board will agree that it is.

The most bizarre coincidence

The most bizarre coincidence in all of this is that the alleged incident occurred on the same night as the Rather Hall brawl with the MSU football team.

As an MSU fan, I think

As an MSU fan, I think ranking them anywhere from 10-25 is reasonable depending on criteria. A lot of production lost and while they did a good job of getting backups game reps this year, going from Dennard to Colquin is a dropoff, same as Bullough to Harris or Treadwell to Clark.

I don't get OSU's high ranking when factoring in the massive losses on the OL along with Hyde and the big playmakers from a mediocre defense. Maybe I just don't luv Urbz and Ahia enough...

Only the north entrances and

Only the north entrances and the area immediately surround the area south of the river.

If you are sitting on the west side of the stadium, there is a smaller entry gate just south of the press box that will have a 50% shorter line than the larger corner entry ways. There is also a flight of stairs inside the press box/premium seating area that are open to all ticket holders and will allow you to skip the idiotic/dizzying ramp systems.

There is a church and mosque

There is a church and mosque on Harrison Rd that are a 10 min walk from the stadium and will provide fairly quick access to the highway after the game (also and elementary school that uses parking funds for their PTA).

re: Willy the Wolverine aka the "fake" Wolverine Mascot

He's been banned, those who created him were punished and he is never allowed to be seen in public again (outside of rare footage from mascot camp where the guys use him for extra practice).

24/26

Being an MSU alum I nailed these in about 2:30. I've apparently blocked the idiocy of the 2001 game at NU that happened right in front of me (MSU only had 10 defenders on the field when NU completed the 54 yard pass).

I also blanked on the 2001 PSU game. Was in attendence for that one as well.

Good quiz.
