I thought the same thing. Brown didn't give the back up QB any looks he wasn't expecting. You could see that second crossing route coming before the snap.
I can never figure out why a D doesn't change it's alignment after the O calls in a new play from the sideline.
But the D had a great chance to put this game away. Up 6 with a back up QB in for OSU, and the D's only stop the rest of the game was a missed FG. Best statistical 3rd down D in the nation but couldn't get it done when it counted the most.
That said, I really feel good about this team next year. There are a lot of good young players that are coming back. But can we finally get a QB?
