Beilein is really, truly, a great coach. This team has a lot of obvious holes that we can hopefully shore up in years to come with recruiting and continued player development. That being said, we probably shouldn't lose too many more early entrants to the draft, and having Beilein on the sidelines always gives me faith. Go Blue!
Has there been any word on assistant coaching salaries yet? Given the talk about Harbaugh giving up $3MM in order for us to be able to spend more on assistants, I'd be interested in how much Drevno, Durkin, Mattison, etc. are to be paid, in comparison to what Nussmeier, Borges, Mattison, etc. got in previous years.
Huge pickup for Michigan! This is the guy that recruited Humphries, Anzalone, Bullard and others to Florida. Can't wait to see who he picks up for Michigan. And the fact that he's only 36? Icing on the cake.
We got a ton of skill position talent in Weber and Cole. Doesn't mean it wouldn't have been nice to have Harris and Campbell too. Best of luck to him, I wouldn't mind seeing FSU down the road!
I like this offense to use Darboh as a quick out guy, with Chesson on the same side blocking, and Funchess attracting too much attention opposite. 8th play of the first offensive drive, with about 11 minutes remaining in the 1st quarter.
