Lightning bolts need to be coming out of his eyes!

Here's hoping for

Here's hoping for Denard to be more consistent this year and learning to be a smarter QB. We will find out soon enough in less than one week's time.

Giving a shit about what Corso says is like

Giving a shit about what Corso says is like is like giving a shit what an drunk Buckeye fan is saying while sitting on a cooler taking a dump.

Why get worried over what an ANALyst says?

It's almost college FOOTBALL time!

Always take what a recruit says

Always take what a recruit says with a grain of salt until they sign that LOI!

No use fretting over an over hyped 5 star

When we have our own over hyped 5 star who has not acclimated to college ball either.

Come on BWC, get it together! The team needs you.

You guys shouldn't be dissing Canada

Shyla Stylez is from Canada. I doubt any of you would diss her!

If you dig deep enough,

If you dig deep enough, you'll end up finding out (assuming the NCAA does its job) that Gee knew full well about what happened and that Tressel told him immediately after he got the email(s) only to have GEE tell Tressel that, "I'll take care of it."

Tressel was the fall guy. It's why the school so conveniently dropped the $250,000 fine that Tress had to pay and instead paid him his salary for the month.

Gee and OSU are about as corrupt as congress.

Sorry to beat a dead horse

Sorry to beat a dead horse but you either are fully committed or you are not. Terry is obviously not fully committed and that is absolutely ok with me. I am sure he is fully aware that UM would love to have his services but that if he is going to look around and take visits then the coaches have the same right to pursue other players. Hopefully his pending visits will help him realize that Michigan is the place for him. If another school seems to be a better fit for him, then so be it. But, I do believe it is a good thing for him to take visits if he has the opportunity. It's just unfortunate that the recruiting process is how it is. Maybe he should not have given his verbal so soon. The bottom line to all of this is that he should pick the school that is best for him and the only way he'll  be able to do that is to visit the top schools on his list.

Good for Japan

This is one thing to help the country after the horrible earthquake/tsunami. Congrats to them.

The one thing people forget is: GRBAC

If not for GRBAC's great throws, Desmond would not have even been mentioned for the Heisman. Howard should be grateful for having an Elvis in his life.

Remember one important thing

Kyle could have picked any school to go play for other than Michigan after reconsidering OSU. He chose Michigan.

If Brionte decides to decommit from OSU and play for Michigan, it will because he wants to play for Michigan. Not because of early playing time. Not because of bowl games. Neither are guaranteed. The prospect is there for both, of course. But he'll ultimately pick Michigan, should it be Michigan, because he wants to be at Michigan.

It's the power of GO BLUE!

IMHO, Diamond will not be part of this class

I think his wanting to wait is what will end up making him look elsewhere. And if what I read from somewhere else comes to fruition, UM might have their sight on another highly ranked OT other than Jordan. Where ever he lands, I hope he has success. He appears to be a good kid.

And they are exactly right

Same exact thing I have always been thinking and saying about this. OSU has to be a good team because any Michigan win against a weak OSU team is no win at all except for on paper. It's not unlike OSU teams playing Michigan's team the last several years. UM has not put forth the quality product that they use to. Hopefully under Hoke, that will all change.

Seriously guys

These are kids that haven't even started their Senior season of football. They are all raw specimens that are waiting to be molded into fierce Wolverine Warriors. Lets critique them when they are JRs in college after having learned the Michigan system under Hoke.

She can dance!

Hard question to answer

I'll have to think about which 16 or 17 year old boys I am most obsessed about.

Correctomundo!

The only thing I am waiting for is the, "What are you drinking tonight (while you watch porn)" thread.

The real question is

Not what school Tate will pick but if that school even offered him in the first place. How is it that this kid can't even decide on a school yet? The funny thing about Tate is that not only was he trained by Marv Marinovich, but he's starting to go down the same path as Todd Marinovich.

Interesting

The top 4 teams have yet to have a QB commit to them.

Oh Really?

Don't the coaches know by now that MGOBLOGers run the recruiting show for Michigan football? :)

I just noticed that Lloyd Brady wore white pants

That takes guts wearing white pants to a stadium.

Well done video

Hopefully Denard will have more substance than hype this season. The 2nd half of the season was a wake up call for him.

good point

Many are not aware that if you are a student at UCLA, you have to drive ~30 mins to get to the Rose Bowl as UCLA does not have a stadium on campus as almost every other school does.

While this isn't Mike

I alsways got a kick outta this player and his psycho football portrait.

The problem with UCLA

Besides typically having mediocre teams, the problem with UCLA right now is that the school can not spend to the degree that USC can for football related things such as facilities etc. Public Schools in LA are toast as there is just no funding at all.

You should realize by now

You should realize by now that tape doesn't really tell the whole story.

Did you ever watch Sam Mcguffie's tape from HS? How'd that turn out for him? And I am not trying to bash Sam. He's a great kid. But what a kid does in HS and shows on a highlight reel typically doesn't translate to college where everyone is bigger than and faster than the kids they played against in high school.

Regardless, we all can hope this kid at least visits Michigan.

Wow

Erik's coach is a Buckeye. And he contacted OSU about Erik THREE times. And not a peep back from OSU.

I can not wait to see what this staff does with their recruits.

I am trying to contact him to be my spokesman.

I think he'd be a great spokesperson to push my Schweddy balls!

Reading what Buckeye fans write online makes me think of:

the scene in the untouchables where Capone goes ape shit and says:

I want you to get this fuck where he breathes! I want you to find this nancy-boy Eliot Ness, I want him DEAD! I want his family DEAD! I want his house burned to the GROUND! I wanna go there in the middle of the night and I wanna PISS ON HIS ASHES!

To answer your question

It typically doesn't translate all that well. If the accomplishments of HS players translated to college, Michigan would not have had such a crappy past three years. 7-7 is just a way to showcase players in a controlled environment but one that, unfortunately, doesn't mimic college ball.

Because LOI is in Feb

Any coach with verbals has to continually keep in touch with the kid (within NCAA guidelines of course). It's always a concern when a kid goes to another school to visit because you have no idea what will happen. Remember ROJO and his family?

It's not true!

Jackson is just another disgruntaled ex OSU player who didn't get free tatts, a sweet ride and who saw $500 handshakes turn into weak pats on his shoulder. Tressel was a father figure to all of them and would never hurt one of his players. Just ask TP. He speak truth to power! :P

Let me also add

You'll need to stay buckled in until the first Tuesday of Feb 2012 when these kids sign their LOI. It could be a bumpy ride should UM disappoint on Saturdays and kids verbally de-commit.

My advice is crack open a brew and not worry.

Walmart Wolverine

While the ever so classless MSU fan likes to disparage those who didn't go to Michigan  and call them Walmart Wolverine, the example of a true Wolverine getting experience at Walmart is pretty damn important if you ask me. Walmart, for whatever you think about the company, is a great place to learn about management. The company's success can not be ignored.

You must also be in a booster seat

Please use restraint in posting as your impatience really does not warrant this thread. Whining is not a characteristic of a true Wolverine fan. MSU, sure. But never a Wolverine.

What will really determine the success of Hoke will be:

The difference between Hoke and RR will be how the coaches develop the talent they recruited. I'd say that RR didn't do all that well in developing the talent he recruited. We saw flashes but no consistency. The new staff has showed they can recruit but now it will be imperative for the staff to show it can develop raw HS players into proficient college players. It also helps that Hoke believes in a more traditional type of play and has a bigger net to recruit with versus the smaller specific net that RR used for his scheme.

God speed

As reported by the AP, he and his father survived a previous crash that took the life of his mom, sister and younger brother. And now this. How horrible. While his physical injuries will heal, I surely hope he gets all the help he can to deal with the psychological devastation of this as it's not the first time. God speed to his full recovery.

Awesome!

Can't wait to see the new boards. They should really kick the stadium experience up a notch or two.
