I grew up in Ann Arbor and couldn’t bring myself to leave for undergrad. After moving around a bit, have spent the last 6 years in Portland and love it. Beautiful place and weather is so much better than the Midwest. Thunderstorms and humidity do not exist here.
UCLA signed the contract with Nike in December, so even though they're not officially wearing Nike until July they can wear Nike shoes...you'll see that they also covered up the UA logo on the jerseys.
Putting aside the seemingly weak competition that Johns was facing and dominating, his stroke looks pretty nice. Great rotation and decently quick release, especially for a big guy. He'll likely struggle a bit as a freshman with the leap to real and consistent competition with his driving mentality, but great looking upside and athleticism that JB can mold into a beast.
Unbelievable. Well totally believable being comcast. Contract is up in the summer, so time to switch. In my area I can get DirectTV, Dish and Frontier FIOS. Anybody actually have good experiences with any of these?
And I think it definitely will. Will he be Z or MAAR level? Probably not, but a lot (not all) of his mistakes on d this year came from an overdose of SWAG. He would go for the big play or steal instead of staying at home and playing lockdown D. An offseason with Yaklich and the focus of being on the starters team will go a long way to developing the discipline needed. He clearly has the athleticism to be a great defender, just needs more development.
Bought my tickets yesterday, super pumped - haven't been to a M bball game in years. Will be getting to DTLA early given weather, traffic, stubhub lines, etc. Was happy to find an AirBnB that was nice, reasonably priced and not stupid far away from Staples
Heading down from Portland, so eager to see Seth's write-up and will likely employ a last minute strategy as well for tickets. Would like to be no worse than 200 level and not behind the basket (corner is ok).
TAMU may be a worse match-up but would much rather play them than UNC that can light it up more consistently. Especially if they play out of their minds today - more likely to be off next week.
We were a different team defensively the first two meetings. If mo can avoid early fouls and we stay home and contest their threes then we can limit the lights out shooting we encountered the first two times. Mo and Teskes ability to contest post shots has been excellent lately
Awful half aside from the initial surge. Lucky to only be down 3. Time to come out and start hitting some shots. Too many pull ups and not enough drive and kick.

Heading down from Portland as well with my 5yo for his first bball game. My first Michigan game since ncaa tourney in LA back in 2018

It’s slow for me on chrome too. iPad and laptop. Been like this for maybe 2 weeks

DRob and Teske secure the win. DRob with the timely threes and clutch FTs and Teske with that D
WTF DRob clearly grabbed and held in the backcourt for multiple seconds and they just let them play on. Unreal officiating
Silver lining. If we pull it out, Rahk, Mo and Duncan will be plenty fresh for tomorrow.
Hello 2nd half. More please
D needs to step up and contest more. But with this shit refereeing that may prove impossible.
