Shouldn’t They check Angola for a concussion if it was so egregious. I am surprised he could recover so quickly to make both free throws
As a prostate cancer survivor

at age 53 I might respectfully disagree with a general statement against treatment. I chose to have surgery given my age, expected life span, family history, and the aggressiveness of my cancer.

The main point to consider is that each man must evaluate his options carefully. I do agree that there, perhaps, is over treatment of prostate cancer. Current age and expected life span should play a big factor in the treatment decision and if to seek treatment at all. Had I been diagnosed at 63 or 73, I might have chosen a different treatment plan or at an advance age chosen to not treat it at all. Seek the counsel of many specialists before deciding on the right treatment plan for you and don't necessarily rush into a decision. Be well informed. I have no regrets.

The screeing for prostate cancer if far from perfect still I believe tests along with family history can help the patient and the physician weight the risks vs. the benefits.

You do not want to ignore it. While it is mosly an old man's disease, 10 percent of all deaths due to prostate cancer are under 65 and 30 percent are under 75.

Stop being realistic

Our win last night is the equivalent of a pitcher not having his best stuff but also finding a way to win. Normally, we laud that type of effort. Only here, seemingly, do we complain that we did not win in a simple and predictable manner.

As if I needed

one more reason to not buy Papa John's pizza.

Was that

Greater than, equal to or less than your frustration at watching our football team blow leads or nearly blow leads against MSU, Minnesota and Indiana?

I would imagine

That most would be pleased if Harbaugh led us to two Big Ten Titles (one outright) and took us to the Championship game in his first 8 years at the helm. Perhaps you expect more from him than this but that would still be a nice accomplishment.

It is still comical to see comments that we need to recruit more athletic big men as if there is there is a surplus to go around. And the very few who are big and athletic are almost invariably one and done.

We got whipped by MSU because they beat us at our own game. They shot the three ball out of their minds. I doubt Forbes can make 80 percent in practice let alone another game. We actually had as many 2 point baskets as did MSU. We did get outrebounded, but when your opponent shoots 67 percent there are not many rebounds to be had.

The last two games have been awful. There is no doubt about it. But, for the second year in a row we are playing most of the season without our next first round draft pick and the kid who has been a sparkplug and general pain in the ass to opponents.

Beilein is a class act, has won at every level and at every stop, is respected by his peers, and treats eveyone (media included) with respect. I can not imagine a better representative of the University of Michigan and the basketball program. Yes, those things matter as do wins and losses.

Who would be a proper replacement? Brad Stevens?- not gonna happen. Shaka Smart? - Beilein owns him. The former coach at Ohio who beat us in the NCAA tournament? - How's that working out for Illinois?

Too late according to Men in Blazers

Second Only to the SEC west no doubt.
"Whoever it is, he'll start worlds ahead of where Brady did" And, yet, somehow his record got progressively worse.
It's obvious

that Harbaugh is trying to pull a Costanza.

"agreement in principal for almost a month" So, hiring a search firm is just a ruse ? Or, better yet, if just a ruse can I be said unnamed firm? I could use the $250,000+.
If he goes there will be trouble An' if he stays it will be double.
Let's not... ...turn him into our jimmy clausen by over hyping him. Brother rice has been a power for a long, long time. It's not like Al Fracassa did not know how to coach until Malzone magically appeared. Malzone had nothing to do with the championship in 2011 and essentially shared the qb position in 2012. Impressive, yes. Program changing at BR, no.
Thanks for posting I am a new member of the prostate cancer survivors club this year at the relatively young age of 53. With all due respect to mi93 I believe I will have the shittiest mustache come November 30. If you are over 50 with no family history of cancer or over 40 with a family history go get checked out. I am living proof that if you catch it early you can beat it. If you are nervous about the check up just find a doc with skinny fingers. Old joke for a not so funny disease.
