We are still in partial panic mode from the last few years guys. We have to look at match ups now differently than in the past. When we should dominate (under this staff), we will. No more demoting ourselves from poor coaching, play calling, and just plain bad juju bees. We look better, we are playing much better, and we have more confidence than this program has had in a long time. Heads high Wolverine nation for we will dominate this game. No more anxiety about this match up at least until Harbaugh retires after his tenure. Back to only worrying about OSU that's it.

I think NW defense looks scary similar to ours. Great D line push, super athletic in space, and excellent open field tackling. I think that Stanford failed to take advantage of there uber agressiveness though. We will not.

I do believe that Jake is HB's best bet right now. I also think that Speight is his number two. I don't think he would have called the down field pass plays he did without this dynamic. I think Morris is red shirting for a transfer. Mostly because I think Speight has over taken him in reliability. I think if we see a change, it's gonna be Speight. Might be half way through BYU game.

I think this might be Michigan's way to freeze the corners (for now). The receivers are, for a moment, faking a route and then chop blocking at the last moment. For now this is the only way they have to freeze the corners while the play developes. If these guys try to lock on right away, they will alert to the play call and certainly get holding calls all day. I think this is why Brian briefly mentioned the POP passes as another way to freeze the corners and keep them honest. Obviously a different formation is necessary to make a pass option read by Rudock.
Yeah, defending two TE receiving threats is incredibly difficult. Usually defended (at least one) by a linebacker or even better drop back DE's. Having three guys that can get open and make a grab......HUGE!
Interested to see how many 2 TE formations we see from now on.

I want to second the Bunting praises Harbaugh gave. This kid is talented and made all his grabs and plenty of YAC. Already looking like Stanford's TE tandem and that can be lethal. Jake is no Luck but seems to make the right read 98% of the time. I feel warm and fuzzy! Go Blue and go Harbaugh who I think has Bo inplanted into his core........

Those refs got the wrath of Harbaugh deservingly. Some crap calls not going Blue's way. It's a nice contrast from the Hoke clap and shrug mentality.
