B1G GAMES ARE GOING TO BE TOUGHER

Don't get so excited about Robinson's three's or the rest of the team. They are horrible on the boards, and don't create fouls on the other teams. They stand around! I thought basketball was about competition, playing soft teams and bragging about how many threes you've made doesn't make for a tournament ready team.  They loss to SMU, no wait, got their butts whipped by them. And they are happy about about how many threes they made against teams they shouldn't be playing anyway.

Very disappointed!

FORGET THE POINT SPREAD!

Just win the game, and bring that jug back. GO BLUE!

THE COLOR CHANGE AND HELMET STICKERS...

First I love the the helmet stickers and for those who think the helmet looks cluttered. If you actually used your minds eye you will see the stickers, after you get enough of them, represent the feathers of a wing. So I think it goes hand in hand with the winged helmet theory.

Secondly, the color change is noticeable and I HATE IT! The yellow looks orange, again, and the jersey looks black.  I know my opinion on the design wasn't consulted, nor matters. But I hated it back in the eighties, and I hate it now! GARBAGE!

Use less words next time. The running game will get better. I guess you needed to vent, so try to relax now.
Coach Harbaugh Apparently is cleaning house.
Norfleet has no excuse for not taking care of his class work So much for student athlete. Damn! I like that kid. Just go to class people.

BOOM IS RIGHT!

Let that go!

BOOM IS RIGHT!

Let that go!

How do you really measure a spring game?

If the offense looked good, then does that mean the defense was bad, or vice versa? What I liked, from what I saw, was actual coaching during the whole game. These kids will be a football team next fall. I'm not getting too hyped up about any player. Not until they play someone they have to plan for.

So GO BLUE!

I've been saying it since the day he got hurt.

Shane Morris will never start at Michigan. As for the other similarities, well that's very obvious,

I thought he was a solid commit at OASSU!

If he switches I don't know how I will feel. I thought when Kyle Kalis switched from OASSU I thought Michigan was getting something great. Well you see how that has turned out.

But I hope he does come back to THE WOLVERINE NATION!

These kids are so full of themselves.

If he comes to Michigan, so be it. If he doesn't, so be it. They will still play football in the Big House. Love the Brian Coles, and Alex Malzones of the world. Just commit, and get right to business.

Let Terrell Pryor...I mean Iman go to hollywood, he needs a camera more than a football.

Messiah who??

Seeing as though the United States consist of fifty states, and a few islands. I'm sure Coach Harbaugh will find another Qb. As for Mattison and the fun bunch. Find a better way to get your point across!

Welcome to Michigan!

Great to have a recruit that has huge upside, and can bring strength to a weak part of the offense. GO BLUE!

Fred Jackson is a Wolverine for life!

Going to miss seeing him on the sideline. Wish he could have stayed on in some way. GO BLUE COACH JACKSON!!

It's a road win...

no matter what, it's a road win. GO BLUE!

Two words....

season over! :-(

Ok this makes no sense???

Why would you leave now? Are you sure he wasn't asked to leave? Not that I'm owed any explanation, just saying it doesn't make any sense to leave now.

Michigan basketball win sad :-( and :-)happy

I'm upbeat for the win, but very realistic about the team. As a fan of Michigan basketball, and based on my knowledge of the game. THEY ARE IN TROUBLE!

For example...that team  (Coppin State) was small and the inside game wasn't strong by Michigan. They attacked but in spurts. Ricky Doyle is a diamond in the rough, just needs to stop thinking and push his will. Irving slashed a couple of times, they need a lot more of that. And Donnal/ Chatman/ Dawkins need to get closer to the rim, GET RED HOT THERE, then move out to the arch. TWO POINTS are better than none.

Isn't it weird?

How the basketball program became better and the football program became worse. Now the basketball program is regressing.  Could it be happening again??

GO BLUE!

Looking forward for this to end, and finally have a coach who knows how to coach.

Coaches and who's coming!?

Until further notice there is no need to assume anything. Coach Harbaugh is the deciding factor on coming to Michigan or not, and Les Miles is and always has been a wash. I am tired of the yo-yo affect on wondering and hearing everyones opinion about the carousel. I refuse to keep checking sites to see if there is any good news or bad. IT'S JUST A WASTE OF TIME!

So until tomorrow...see you then!

Michigan's coaching search!

If they don't get Harbaugh I have every confidence they will mess this whole process up again. The candidates that are being thrown around will bring nothing more than more changes. Once again having to hear he needs to get his guys in here. Not saying they are all bad coaches but there have been a few names mentioned that make me nervous.

They need a coach that can pull together a program that is already here, and bring back recruits that have wavered. Just by their name, without having to say a word the first few weeks. Seven years people! Michigan's brand is losing it's buying power with the younger generation.

THEY BETTER THROW THE KITCHEN SINK AT THIS ONE!

Jim Harbaugh coming to Michigan?!?!

It's very difficult to not get excited about the idea, but that' exactly what it is. If Michigan doesn't get him then they better have another ace up their sleeve. Settling for a a coach that will get you to six wins is over.

This is going to be very interesting....

Why?

Why have a press conference? Michigan football has been unrelevant for weeks now. Your record is 5-5 and your team hasn't beating anyone that is relevant the whole season. Shoot BTN doesn't say much about this team.

We know, the team practiced hard.

It doesn't matter what Northwestern does or doesn't do!

Michigan has shown consistently they play a different way on the road. These coaches don't play to win, they play the clock. Just do what is necessary to get by, and hope to settle on a fg. They will do EVERYTHING to lose this game. Don't be surprsed by this, hopefully they pull out of Evanston with a win.

The Indiana game is not a measuring stick of how this team plays.

Brandon will not hire anyone that will stand up to him.

Henceforth, no Harbaugh, and hello Brady Hoke. You really didn't see that when they let RR go??

MICHIGN AT MSU

Coach Hoke really should have said, "We tried but we can't get out of this game!"

The only upset is going to be you!

Brady still thinks the run game is going to work, and they are seven games into the season. Once again no runningback to take charge, nor an offensive line to  protect.

I understand hoping for the best is something you must do, but even that doesn't help.  I keep trying for hope but reality sets in. I PRAY I'M WRONG SATURDAY! GO BLUE!

Michigan scrimmage.

Are you telling me after all this talk about spring/summer workouts the OL hasn't improved all? If this line can't block and the coach can't seem  to solve the problem, after all this time, then I guess this will be another messed up season. WTH is going on with OL?

I keep hearing, THIS IS MICHIGAN! Well the MIchigan I grew up with always had a OL, and a very good rep across the nation for that very reason. This cannot be the case, just can't.

Still holding out for the best but if that team goes to South Bend and folds, there needs to be a change. We won't even talk about Oct 24 and Nov 29th.

Annual BBQ

I've never been invited and I love BBQ! With some mac and chees, patoto salad, and some greens. MMMMM, MMMM, GOOD! :-)

GO BLUE!

Huge win at the Kohl Center!

Congratulations to this Michigan squad! I loved it, now take care of business at MSU and Ohio. Great game by everyone.

Delusional Lion fans!

I've been a Lions fan forever and I know it doesn't matter what coach they have, these players (Lion's players) need to be accountable for their play, and actions. They don't want to win, nor play together. They are all about stats, and getting their face on television.

I say fine them, dock pay, or whatever you want to call it for dumb play, penalties, and lack of discipline. THEY HAVE NO PROFESSIONAL WORK ETHIC, and you as fans continue to pay for b.s. and fake as promises. They get your gauranteed money (seat licenses, and season tickets), and you're left with why can't they do this, or if they would do that.

Firing the coach does nothing! The NFL will shuffle is A$$ off to another team, and Detroit will continue to play like crap for the next coach.

AND YES I WILL TUNE IN NEXT SEASON!

Restore the Roar!

Not exactly a month to prepare but close enough.

If they can't get the team ready for this lower tier bowl. Next season will be more of the same. Losing to MSU, OSU and Nebraska.

We as fans don't have much invested in the day to day preparation, but watching the final result is devistating. 7-6 record reminds me of teams like San Diego St, Ball State, but not Michigan.

You may believe this record is just a phenomenom, but it's getting worse and worse in the last three years. Michigan's football team embarrassed themselves on Dec 28,2013. NO PRIDE AT ALL!

Tried to listen to it but turned it off.

This is the worse offensive output I"ve ever seen. The coach doesn't seem to have any answers, so to me, the team wouldn't either. The season is a wash, they can't win at home now, and haven't on the road. So what do you think?

Coaching with passion on the road!

All I will say is Coach Hoke and Borges better not go into this game playing percentages. Just coach the game with attitude. Trying to run Fitz will be a major mistake and doing a few trick plays in the first quarter will be a waste. You win the game in the second half.

This game will show how tough Michigan really is, and whether or not Michigan has MAC coaches or B1G coaches.

GO BLUE!

Michigan's defense is suspect at times.

But they play hard and will have errors. There isn't a perfect defense in this world. Some will make a claim for MSU but I think they play more physical than Michigan. Michigan has a great coach in Mattison. So if he makes a mistake, so be it. But Michigan is always in a position to win, and the players have to push through adverstity.

The issue I have is the middle of the field. Would someone please close that leak! It's wide open all the time, and if I see it, every offensive coordinator sees it!

Brady Hoke regime I like most of the coaches, reserved on Al

My issue isn't about the loss. It's about how Michigan loss, and the coaching decisions seem to be at it's weakess during road games. For example, a few years ago at MSU, Denard was getting pummelled, they kept running him. At Nebraska, Denard gets hurt, they bring in the wrong qb (everyone knows this) and states to change Devin back to qb would have been to much of an adjust, REALLY!? Then turnaround in one week and he's the starting QB for the rest of the season. Last weekend, and at UConn kept trying to use a runningback that is clearly saving himself for a chance to get in the NFL. By the way he averaged almost less than one yard a carry against Penn State

Playing it safe on the road you must have a running game. If you don't, the only option is to attack. These coaches don't attack, they play it safe, ooops, play the percentages.

Big Al and his pro style offense.

No Al Borges is. When watching the game, check how deep Fitz is behind the QB, if he's way back, he's running. If he's closer to the QB it's play action. It's predictable!

Michigan vs Penn State final- simply out coached!

Everyone can point at one or two things about each player, youth, and lack of effectiveness. But the biggest thing that I don't understand is this. Your QB is getting more yards than your runningback (the only one they keep using), how is that?  How is that runningback still playing, and no one else gets a  chance?

These coaches claim they have all this talent but somehow they never make it in games. In (4)OTs you used a runningback that was ineffective for (4) qrts, to waste crucial downs in OTs, by running up the middle (hadn't been successful for four quarters) but kept setting up for a fg everytime. Never threw the ball to the endzone once. But the coach on the otherside did whatever it took, including going for it on fourth down (and was losing at this point), to win a game. Why didn't you do whatever it took to win this game?

Does Michigan have MAC coaches or BIG TEN coaches?

Devin Gardner

I think Devin did a great job yesterday, and even with his past mistakes he's still a great QB. Happy to have him wearing the Winged Helmet. He's just having a familiar year, but just later than most qbs, the sophmore slump (I know he's not a sophmore). Most second year qbs seem to go through this, and if you know the game, opposing teams attack new qbs. People forget, this is Devin's first full year at qb, mistakes are going to be an issue. Some mistakes bigger than others, it's up to good coaching to help prevent bad habits.

Michigan's win over Minny.

First I hope the Minnesota's headcoach, Jerry Kill is doing well this morning.

As for the game there was a lot, we as fans were trying to see, and may have missed. But from MY view I think the coaches did exactly what they had to do. They took the game out Devin's hand, and tried to establish a run game (which from my view, needs more work).

Devin looked defeated at times and he wasn't doing a bad job. His confidence has been shaken, and establishing a run game is crucial.

Fitz, is not a threat, hate to say it, and I really mean that. Green, nice to see some of his potential but they won't let him have game experience. My question, where are the rest of the backs? The coaches always claim to have talent but never use it. But I knew they would be in a bind when Al said he wanted one runningback to carry the load, one back, REALLY?

Here's one thing that bothers me, Devin Funchess. The kid wanted to play WR, they wanted him at TE. Funchess claims to have embrace the TE position. Coaches, hey Funchess! How about playing some WR? Funchess, ok!  Coaches....damn he's good! I understand they had a need at TE but the kid is good, and a threat! So as fans we will have to see what they will do with him at the next game.

Granted I'm being sarcastic but it's obvious this team is lacking something, and I hope the coaches and players get it figured out this week. Because Michigan losses to NW, OHIO, and MSU  if they don't. Two out of the three looks like they have more talent and are willing to use it. The third, well, it's East Lansing, and Michigan doesn't look like a tough team (soft).

On probation, so prepare to drop on Nov. 24th.

So the probation department decided to take urine samples on Nov 24, and all their clients (Tressel, the osu team, and even Urban who escaped Florida's probation) have to meet at the horseshoe.

It's all a part of their terms of probation.

Maryland coming to the B1G, and you ask what's next?

I will tell you what's next! I have another reason to visit D.C. in the fall and party my ass off! That's what's next.

Welcome to the B1G, losers!

BEAT OHIO WEEK!

This is a major game! Michigan loss to Alabama, in every aspect of the game. The Notre Dame game, well let's just say, bad night but still could have won. Notre Dame didn't beat Michigan, they ended up winning.

Now here they are, going against an undefeated team ( who's division is so weak they were predicting Purdue/ Indiana to win it). Michigan has a chance to redeem themselves for losses to Bama and ND.

A win in Co-rumbus (spelling intended) will make this season a success, in everyway!

So GO BLUE beat Ohio, and ESPN's favorite coach (love child).

Buying and Selling.....

I will agree osuck-u will have a team that will be hard to beat. That's only because Urban had a whole year to scout every team in the Big Ten (working Big Ten games for ESPN). As for Notre Dame, yeah Michigan has a lot to worry about. This game is a trap game and Michigan seems to have the injury bug.

MSU is going to be a victory for Michigan, no questions asked. As for the rest, who cares, they're not on Michigan's schedule.

The biggest factor that outweighs all that.....Michigan has great coaches, period.
