Love Wilson's inside play

Seeing a Wolverine get multiple offensive rebounds in one trip and points in the paint is so refreshing.  Also was a big fan of Wilson's D and team's overall.

Beat IU!

Thanks!

Let's win it again.

Good call

Seth Davis is horrible and annoying.  I actually enjoy Bardo's commentary.

Let's get a few more stops and get the win.  Our middle segment of the schedule is brutal.

Go Blue!

Early lead

I hope we help ourselves out by jumping to an early lead, instead of having to fight back from behind.

Go Blue!

completely agree!

Completely agree!

I think that's about right. I think that's about right. Zak had to shoulder more of a defensive load than Nik ever did.
Well said!

Well said - with a convincing historical perspective.

Go Blue in Dayton tonight!

Excellent work everyone! Excellent work everyone!
Agree

Ashamed to say that I cannot watch this game - too nervous to watch if the whole season goes down the tubes.  Hoping the boys can turn it arount tonight.

Go Blue!

Looking forward to a better start

Thanks for the write-up Ace.

Hopefully, we start out getting  a big lead, and get some players on the bench some playing time and confidence.

If we can hit just an average number of 3s, our offense really flows.   Do not look forward to a nail-biter.

Would love to see Aubrey build off the spark he provided last game, for Zak to continue providing his all-around game, and for Derrick to get us in the fast-break.

Will be there tomorrow at MSG with my son cheering on the Maize and Blue.

Go Blue!

Frustrated…but happy to get the win

Frustrating offense sets with the ball being stuck in Duncan Robinson's hands at the end of the shot clock.  He threw away a couple of passes when he was forced into this position.

Glad to see that Donnal and Dawkins were able to spark a run.  Oh well... 6-2 in the Big10.

Barrage of 3s!

Hoping for a barrage of 3s early, similar to the Penn State game.

Go Blue!

Completely agree

So cool to see a player improve all aspects of his game from year to year.  Beilein is able to roll out a creator and scorer at the #4 position which creates all sorts of match-up problems for teams that play with a traditional power forward.  Yet, Irvin's defense has improved to the point that he can guard the better of the opponent's forwards.

Beat Rutgers and Penn State and get to 7-2!

Excellent job fighting off Nebraska's runs

Very satisfying win.  Excellent start and  excellent job by Coach Beilein and Derrick Walton.  Go Blue!

Shot blocker Looking forward to having a shot blocker on the team. His presence could mitigate some of the blow bys on the perimeter. Next year he can contribute defensively even in spot minutes.
Good Road Test

We need a good start on the road so were not trying to climb out of a hole like in Iowa.  Improved outside shooting and we have a good chance of coming away with a road victory.  Would love to see Caris back in the lineup soon.  Go Blue!

Wilson and Wagner

Would love to see DJ and Moritz get some good minutes in this contest.  They had a few good moments against Iowa, and I wish to see them expand upon that.  Go Blue!

'89 Illinois Team was tough

I remember that game as a nightmare as UM's Big 10 season final.  I walked out of that arena so depressed.  We couldn't guard them at all, especially Kendall Gill.  I remember hearing alot of grousing about Frieder.

...Little did I know what was coming in the very near future!

Love these GIFs!

Nice work Ace.  Had a hard time deciding on my favorite one.

Irvin's play I respectfully disagree with the characterization of Zak's play as "broken". While I am disappointed the shots haven fallen at the rate we all wish they would - it's true that Zak has improved greatly at expanding his game - including an improved assist and rebounding rate.
