The U.S. is so fucked.  Getting a gun license and guns should be as hard if not harder than a drivers license.

but most people can just go to Wally world and grab a gun.

it’s pants on head stupid.

I live in Canada and every time I go to the U.S. everywhere feels more dangerous.  It’s nuts.

Paris:  best food we had was up in Montmartre at jardin de face.  Septime was way overrated (I wouldn’t go back).  Best advice for food is definitely to make sure that you have reservations if you don’t you’ll settle on some shit bistro that blows.  Also surprisingly pizzeria populaire was amazing would recommend that place for sure.

To do:  I loved the sunset boat tours, really enjoyed the sandemans free tour and the Versailles gardens tour and the musee L’Orangerie is amazing particularly if you like monet and Impressionism.

Was there last year highly…

Was there last year highly recommend the following:

1.  Don’t golf there’s too much to see in that short time period.

2.  Places to eat: in Modena if you can get a reservation (and can afford it) Osteria francescana is amazing.  If you don’t want to pony up for that Zeb in Florence is the best pasta (Besides OF) that we’ve ever had.  Can’t recommend it enough make sure to save room for the chocolate torte!  Another great place to go for a quick snack panini is All'antico vinaio - panini, Via dei Neri, 76, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy best sandwich I’ve ever had make sure to go early.

3.  Places to see:  must get up to Michelangelo piazza for either sunrise or sunset best view in the city.  Obviously the Duomo is phenomenal.

Thanks

That's for one flex spot, and I had thought Lacy too.

I've got both Eddie Lacy and Rawls

Looks like Rawls is now questionable this morning.

Options:

Lacy

Rawls

Blount

Britt

Zay Jones

Mike Wallace

What exactly does this mean?

"There is probably a good case for him (particularly if based on his teams’ Corsi over the past few seasons), and he might be a fine head coach and quality option, but there are also a couple of reasons to remain skeptical. We’re not saying that they cannot be ironed out or that he would not succeed as Michigan’s next head coach."

Mel pearson

When Mel Pearson left the hockey program cratered (left in 2011) in 2012 we missed the tourney for the first time since 1990! :

MTU record before mel:

1982–85 Jim Nahrgang* 3 56–62–3 .475
1985–90 Herb Boxer* 5 66–129–8 .345
1990–92 Newell Brown 2 29–47–4 .388
1992–96 Bob Mancini 4 63–80–20 .448
1996–2000 Tim Watters* 5 39–116–9 .265
2000–03 Mike Sertich 3 25–69–9 .286
2003–11 Jamie Russell* 8 70–197–37 .291
2011–present Mel Pearson* 6 118–92–29 .554

Mel Pearson is the Jim Harbaugh coaching equivalent for hockey.  Absolute slam dunk hire.

meh

The program cratered when Mel Pearson left.  I think if they hire Pearson you'll see an immediate improvement.

Okay so let's talk about rail and truck capacities for a minute

I trade commodities for a North American commodity trading company.  Few points:

1.  Rail roads are NOT working at capacity.  The CN and CP are actually cutting people, trains, putting railcars into "long term storage" and are absolutely not running at capacity.

2.  2 years ago when Canada had the largest crop they had ever had, with peak oil and rail completely at capacity the railroads in Canada (CN and CP) focused on the ports (Vancouver, thunder bay) so that they could load out vessels to cut down on vessel demurrage.  They did not supply railcars to go down to the US or Eastern Canada and so if you were Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids (for example) and 90% of the oats that you buy are from Canada but the railroad won't ship you cars to your facility what do you do?  You figure out a way to blow your brains out with trucks to keep your facility going.  Did we have an oat shortage in the country?  No the trade figured out a way to make it work.

3.  If it did shut down for an extended period of time the trade would figure out a way to make it not a complete and utter shit show because that is the job of commodities traders.
