Wasn't Miami uncovered by Yahoo?

Wetzel and Charles Robinson I believe?

So no subs? :(
Aaron Boone got 1/10

He played in the MLB for about 12 years and is an ESPN analyst. Don't feel bad. Most MLB umpires wouldn't score 10/10 on it.

I unfortunately am learning this

I am completely willing to do one as a graduate for pretty cheap. I just am having a hard time finding companies who don't have a policy of only hiring current college students.

You happen to recruit Marketing positions as well?

I recently graduated from GVSU with Marketing and Accounting degrees and currently live locally.

Also, Unemployed Recent Grad

Declaring late in my college career as a Marketing/Accounting double major at GVSU made it damn near impossible for me to secure an internship while in school as I couldn't afford to do an unpaid internship. I've done the LinkedIn thing and try to keep my accounts professional. I just need that one break into a professional job to get my career going? Any other suggestions for a hopeful businessman? I'm wide open to the idea of relocation. Thanks guys. Any private information can get emailed to me at:

Loving It

Commitments come in pairs! WOOOOO!

Worth?

Danny Worth isn't on the Tigers Roster. He's at Triple A Toledo...so i don't think he will be sent down.

On what merit?

If the guys getting paid to cover sports for a living not on CBS (which doesn't hide its Duke love) said that M was getting the short end of the stick in a poorly officiated game, I think for you to say that it was a well officiated game is ignorant. Also the Beilein warning was bull, because Coach K was talkin just as much crap, and in the ears of the officials just as much

missed fts?

I agree with the whole we had a chance to win thing, but missed fts? We were 10-11. Duke shot 25 FTs to our 11. I think there is a leg to stand on if you wanna gripe about that. I think with competent reffing we most definitely win the game today. That said, there is no point to gripe about the officiating because that would take attention away from how much heart and effort the fellas showed today, and that heart and effort is what makes me proud to be a Michigan fan.

Morgan Fouls

Both those fouls on Morgan were some touchy bullshit

Ummm

I really don't think that Mattison is going anywhere recruiting for a bit seeing as he can't even walk...

Greg Williams

Could they be interviewing him, D Coordinator for the Saints? This is just a guess, I have no reason to think this other than the fact that DB said something along the lines of wanting Defensive minded people, and Williams is that.

Just Curious

Jon Ross, Im just curious why if you want to separate yourselves as the best program in college football by being "The Ohio State University," you feel the need to emulate Thug U.

4th down

What most stuck out to me in the video is the great efficiency we have when going for it on fourth down. 10/16 is 62.5% which I find to be pretty damn good.

Well...
Great performance by the D. They did a great job today without Mouton and Martin.  I must say, however, that out of 5 TO's I'd say that two of the screwed up handoffs by Purdue were gifts more than us forcing them. But, regardless, they did a GREAT job, Danny Hoke looks like a douche once more! A win is a win is a win. Winning seasons are nice.

Go Blue!
Of course.

Remember, the spread can't work in the big ten. It will never work in the big ten. Oh wait, 67 points? Nahh, still can't work in this conference.

/sarcasm

GO BLUE

Avery

I honestly don't think that I am being off base when I say that Courtney Avery's takle in open space against Scheelhaase, on 3rd down right in front of the sticks, was probably the most important play of the day. The only exception obviously is the jailhouse blitz on the last play.

I agree

I completely agree. We are 5-2, we played what I honestly think is a end of the year top 10 team in MSU and a 15th ranked Iowa team the last two weeks and lost while getting owned in the turnover and penalty margin. Everybody just chill out and wait before you post, "FIRE COACH X,Y,Z AND TAKE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM PLAYER A,B,& C." Seriously, its a building year, and going into it, we all saw it as one, no one was predicting 10 wins if they were being realistic with themselves, and 7-8 is not only very possible but likely, which we should consider a win for the year. So everybody chill out, take heart, and actually support the team you and I love. K? K, thanx bye

SHUT DOWN THE BOARD PLEASE

Mods, would you please shut the board down. 24 hr rule applies people.

Please

Please never comment again here...you, sir, are absurd

Thank you kindly
Thank you good sir, for a reference to The Office. The Nard dog is in good company

DG

I knew DG was a stud, but was it just me, or did he seem to have a cannon for a shoulder?

I see

I see what you did there. Haha. +1 sir.

YESSS!

I'm currently at home about a three miles from Waldo Stadium. Eat em up Broncos!

STOKED

I am insanely excited for this game. I can't wait to see Brock emerge from that tunnel either. If ABC doesnt make a huge deal out of it, they are commiting a production crime;

LET'S GO BLUE

3rd pitch neccesary

Rick needs to learn a change-up as a third pitch to fulfill his potential, This is not a secret to anyone. I think, however, that we must remenber that the kid is just 21, during the offseason his body made changes as he gained a significant amount of weight, and grew an inch I believe. With the change in body size/muscle gain, a change in mechanics is bound to happen, so I think we saw this year Rick leaving the ball up due to his new body trying to perform his old mechanics, and he still is in the process of trying to figure it out. I guess I'm saying that cool heads need to prevail here, and let the 21 year old pitcher (younger than Strasburg) grow into his body, and do it at the level the organization thinks is best. They may end up getting it wrong, but they sure as hell know better than we do.

Yeah

I like the fact that Crawford also gives us an everyday LF when there hasnt been one in Detroit since Craig Monroe in 2006, but yeah, the speed element is huge for me too.

Mike Leake

0 pitches thrown in the minors, and having major league success. Now, I agree that Porcello needs to go back to Toledo for the rest of the year. This season is a wash. Now only if Donbrowski would go and get Crawford this winter...Crawford, Jackosn and Boesch in our outfield sounds nice to me.

Oops Apparently my mind has an echo, my bad for the DP
Northwestern His one-handed TD snag against Northwestern is on of the plays I will always look favorably on J.A. for. That was an amazing catch.

we all do Keith was a comforting voice and part of my family. I miss him dearly. I loved hanging out with him on Saturdays.
thanks Thank you for catching that error, it is greatly appreciated...I am a little ashamed I forgot Jay.
I'm going to... I am going to change that number to four powerful still Michigan Men go at it on the gridiron. (Mia-Chad Henne, Jake Long NYJ-Braylon Edwards, David Harris)all four were stars at Michigan.
Yes and No You get to be giddy or pissed yes, but you don't post things that are in your mind because of the emotions created by the game. This is especially true when you want to bash the head coach who we all as fans should support as he has clearly demonstrated the program, led by him, is headed in the right direction.
THANK YOU This is a much needed thread for people to see. To call for RR's head because Denard was in for the last drive is ridiculous and emotional. Tate obviously didn't have his head right, and was a little rattled. They made that clear on the broadcast, and he made that clear with his play and decision making. Tate is going to be a legend at Michigan, but I think this was a great time to teach Tate a lesson about poise, and RR did that. Once again, people, can we just trust the people who get paid the big bucks to handle these situations, and assume they are wiser about these decisions than we are? Go Blue!
This would be difficult This would be difficult to do as Denard isn't a great option to run on the goal line as Tebow is. The main difference being that Tebow is at least 50 lbs heavier than Denard and a bruising runner. Also, Tebow is Jesus' younger brother, or so the media makes it seem.
Lack of depth and talent I am pretty sure its safe to say that there are very few D-Coordinators that would have optimal success with the lack of depth and talent there currently is on that side of the ball at UM. Aside from four players (BG, Warren, S. Brown, Martin) I would call UM's defense talent deficient. So, its gunna take some time as we are young and inexperienced, and a few more recruits come in before we will have a stud D again. I know its hard to believe, but sometimes its not the COACH'S fault.
In Rod In Rod I Trust
no It does not piss me off. I am grateful that no Pam Ward will be heard tomorrow in my living room, but I feel as though it is a poor decision by ESPN. Their College Gameday location of choice (Florida State at Boston College) shows me that there aren't a large quantity of good games this week, and thus a UM vs. MSU rivalry game with all the Michigan stories floating around should be on the ESPN family of networks.
Also.. I would also like to give you an additional +1 for the excellent signature you have at the bottom of your post. Great song choice sir.
Thank you sir I will give you a +1 for the avatar. It just made me laugh very hard.
4 games in 3 days Verlander is a bonafide ace in this league, he can go 130 pitches every once in a while. Given the situation of two games today, and 4 games in 3 days, it was a good decision to send him to the mound with 110 pitches after 8 innings while having retired 10 straight hitters prior to the 9th. Also, with Bonine pitching tonight, the bullpen will be needed, and Rodney might have to get called on for a save. Its hard to warm up a closer twice in one day, and we need him available all series. So, IMHO, a good call by Leyland.
Hitting Also, hitting a major league pitch is incredible. In under 0.2 seconds, you need to see the pitch, decide if it is a fastball, changeup, slider, etc., then decide whether or not that ball is going to be a strike. After deciding these things, you need to swing a two pound hunk of wood and make solid contact and hope that you hit the ball in a place where one of the nine defenders on the field are not. I think hitting a 95 mph pitch is one of the hardest things to do in sports making hitting unbelievable. Granted, Mark Buehrle does not possess a 95 mph fastball, but he is a great pitcher, and in baseball, great pitching always beats great pitching. It also makes no statement about the Rays as they have scored the 3rd most runs in the MLB, it just makes a statement about how great of a game Mark Buerhle threw. With that said: Go Tigers, please score some more runs tomorrow.
I second all of tha While the White Sox organization isn't what i would classify as classy, Mark Buehrle is one of the classiest, most humble people in baseball, and an all around good guy.
I talked to an OSU fan I talked the other day at work to a knowledgeable OSU fan who said something that reinforced what jrt is saying. His direct quote was, "I really want to enjoy these next two years, and I'll be lucky if it is two years because RR is going to change the face of B10 football. The speed he is bringing in is scary for everyone else in the conference." This is yet again a reminder that people outside of our UofM world believe in RR's track record and see he has done more with less. Imagine what he will do with more in a couple years when he has his players he wanted for his system. People need to relax and trust the people getting paid millions that they know best.
Honestly... The reality of this situation is that this is a blog, and people are always gunna find something to complain about. Despite it being a very professional blog and board that is insightful and mostly football savvy, it is still crazy fans that mostly bleed maize and blue. If RR got 25 5* kids to commit in one class, fans would still find a position that didn't have a lot of depth and complain about not getting enough commits for that position.
I stupidly... I stupidly benched Jarrod Washburn today on my fantasy out of the pure wish in my heart that the Tigers would pound the crap out of him today...oops, missed 7 shutout innings in the midst of a close race for first.
