I thought Harbaugh said on…

I thought Harbaugh said on the podcast that the game and fan fest would take place on the 6th of April? Can't wait to see the SpeedinSpace we have been hearing about. Think we will see a little of it... Go Blue!!!!

****Sorry just saw the update of the game on the 13th....practice will take place on the 6th

There was no way they …

There was no way they (powers that be) were going to leave Ohio State without a viable QB for the 2019 season. Too much money involved....This doesn't change a thing, Michigan still going about their business either way. Onward and Upward....Go Blue!!!!!

It also appears that on the…

It also appears that on the Transfer Portal Site that Tyrone Wheatley Jr shows to be transferring from Michigan. Does Stony Brook not count as the old school in that system? Just curious...

I am confident that once the…

I am confident that once the whole staff gets situated the recruiting will take care of itself. I think the spring game is going to be very important this year to a lot of the recruits. They are going to want to see how open the offense is. I do think Harbaugh will show a bit of that this year. Depends on how comfortable he is going to be with the guys adapting to it. There is a lot left to see and I have a feeling due to the amount of coaches movement this year the early signing period will not be as big this coming December. Next February is a long way away. When this team performs like I think they will, we won’t be talking about this anymore.  Well some of us won't be,,,Go Blue!!!!

Maybe I was wrong but one…

Maybe I was wrong but one time during the game I saw him running back to the sideline and he appeared to be slightly grimacing a bit. I think it is more a plan to gradually work him back in without injuring him anymore. Rather have him going against OSU and Northwestern and getting ready for the playoff honestly. Go Blue!!!!

It is more than clear that…

It is more than clear that that don't care about what anyone thinks outside of Columbus. I continue to see story after story where winning football is the only thing that matters to them. I am not surprised by any of this. Karma will come around and I really hope we are the supplier of that said Karma later this year. The quote about "once we pound Michigan, Zach who" is their new war cry. Go Blue!!!!!

Well this can't be right…

Well this can't be right because I was told some guy named Yoder was going to be the new Harbaugh assistant. Unbelievable....

Well still don't see the up…

Well still don't see the up or down vote so may not be working again...Go Blue!!!

I think Meritocracy is part…

I think Meritocracy is part of the problem here now. You have the older guys who show up and work hard and do all of the things they are supposed to do. The younger ones are there but haven't fallen into the process as quickly. Based on the tradition Harbaugh has set you play the guys that work the hardest. They may not be the best but they have done what he has asked them to do. He has to play them and thus the problem of meritocracy is set. How do we integrate the youth into the team and get better? That is the big question we have to start asking. Harbaugh believes in doing what is best for the team but not playing the young ones with a bigger upside may be hurting this team. They have to learn how to work like the leaders before them but the curve is much harder for someone just getting adjusted to college life. Kinda a catch twenty two and not sure how we solve it. I am going to support this team and Coach Harbaugh until he leaves because I love Michigan Football. Lets see where we go from here and I hope for great things. Go Blue!!!!

Marcus I think you are flat…

Marcus I think you are flat wrong here. Watching the game I saw the QB throw on target while moving in the pocket for much of the game. Quick strong passes that haven't been part of this team for some time. Look forward to seeing improvement next week.

QB play alone will be the…

QB play alone will be the biggest improvement area from last year. OL will be next. With some of the stress removed from the defense they will excel at attacking the opponents who have to play a more aggressive offense and will result and more  turnovers. Shea will throw 3x as many touchdowns as we did last year. Can’t wait to watch this machine roll. New things are happening and it is becoming more apparent to people outside the program now. Go Blue!!!!

I still think this goes back…

I still think this goes back to what he saw from the team last year. His aggressive demeanor would have had little effect on the QB play as they lacked the kind of confidence to absorb it. This played out in front of the cameras on the documentary. "Iron sharpens Iron" and there was little of that last year. This year he is demonstrating that he is "Coaching the Team" and I expect that will be exactly what we will see on the sidelines. Go Blue!!!

Just like at Stanford this…

Just like at Stanford this will be a great year for Michigan Football. Good QB play and suffocating Defense puts us in the right position every game. "Narrative" will change this year. Looking forward to it. Go Blue!!!!!!

How do I add gif/pic to my…

How do I add gif/pic to my profile like I previously had?

My hope is that in the long…

My hope is that in the long run this will work out better for us. As soon as the winning begins here the ability to attract high caliber kids will work itself out. We will be the winner when coming down to the choice between two schools. The arrow is pointing up and I am really looking forward to watching the narrative change on Coach Harbaugh after this year. Didn't suddenly forget how to coach. Saw the same thing at Stanford as what we saw last year here. The Amazon Series showed me all that I needed to know about why the team didn't respond. Won't happen this year. Go Blue!!!

This reeks of contract…

This reeks of contract negotiations more than anything else. He has no inherent value in B1G country. Relationship with coaches here just wouldn't add up to viewers and his SEC crowd would throw him permanently under the bus. Not that I would mind that but this is not going to happen. Go Blue!!!!

My daughter has been in Girl Scouts

since she was a Daisy. She ran a anti bullying program at her elementary school for her Bronze award. She just received her Silver award for a program helping at a local Hospital. This whole issue has become an indictment on the Girls Scouts and their failure to address the evolving change in what interests most girls as they get older. They should have taken a bolder approach to STEM programs for the middle teens and into High School. This might have attracted a significant higher interest in the Girl Scouts. My daughter is working on the Gold award that she will be getting as she graduates from High school which should look pretty good on her college application. It should have the same emphasis of the Eagle Scout from the Boys program but it doesn’t and that is the fault of the Girl Scouts and the decision-making from them. If they wanted to protect the Girls Program they should have put more effort into making it relevant. Just my two cents. Go Blue!!!

I want MSU to

stay right where they are so when we do get to the game in EL they are full of piss and vinegar. Then playing like we have all season we beat a highly ranked team at their home and continue that trend all the way to the OSU game. QB play will be the difference we have been waiting on and I feel pretty confident about that. There seems to be an air about this team by just about everyone around it right now and I haven't seen that for a while. Can't wait. Go Blue!!!

Can we please start

using pictures of Shea in a Michigan Uniform already. I am sure they have them and I am tired of seeing the Ole Miss pictures of him. TIme to move on, he is all blue now. Go Blue!!!

This has to be an

amazing time for Harbaugh right now. He is enjoying the time with the team and getting the news about Patterson being eligible should invigorate him even more. I am sure he was expecting the news but hearing it more from an official standpoint has to be exhilarating. Pieces of the puzzle are falling into place and I can't wait for the season to get here. Go Blue!!!

The message starts from the top

Harbaugh is just coaching the team and I think that is translating across the entire program right now. Reading the details from last year never seemed to reflect any of the things we are seeing right now. Good athletes and so on but nothing like the focus the team has right now. Not sure if I call it a chip on the shoulder but maybe a reflection of Harbaugh's sour taste from last year. Looking forward to Football this year for sure. Go Blue!!!

That is terrible.

I am bringing my daughter up for the Womens Golf Camp in June and that is one of the picture moments that you have to take in while touring the campus. Too bad. Go Blue!!!

This is more of

what we have been hearing from just about everyone around the program. I perused the link to last year's posts and there was nothing sounding as focused as what we are hearing this year. I can't wait to see them in action. This defense is going to be a force to be reckoned with. That along with the QB play that will be vastly improved over last year, creates the scenario we have been waiting for since Harbaugh arrived. I am so looking forward to Football season. Go Blue!!!

That is one of the

difference from last year. I know there was a lot of postive vibes but nothing of the type we are seeing this year. I have always trusted Harbaugh to be able to lead this team but there is something much different about him and the team this year. We were a compentent QB away from being pretty good last year and this year we won't have that problem. Onward and Upward we go. Go Blue!!!

There seems to be a

whole different vibe coming from everyone that spends anytime around this team right now. From the changes to the coaching staff and the difference we seem to be seeing from Coach Harbaugh I am getting more and more confident that we will have the kind of team we always expected from hiring Jim Harbaugh. The trajectory is pointing up and I am ready to ride the wave. Go Blue!!!

This is good for Michigan

as it turns the page on last year and puts the focus on where we are heading now. Never felt he was an option coming back and I am sure the message was clear to him. I keep seeing a more focused Coaches and Team on all of the videos being put our right now. Our QB room is going to have more than enough talent in it to drive the team where we need to go this year. Best of luck to him, but glad the drama is over. Go Blue!!!

Apologies Magnus

took stats and did math in head and came up the figure I posted, Stand corrected. Should have been 58.8%. Still think we have better options for 2018 with the guys we have. Thanks for the correction on that. Go Blue!!!!

You must have been watching

other games than the ones I was watching. He had some bright spots but was terribly inconsistent. As many have documented above there were too many over throws of wide open receivers. His career passing was 50.6% which is not going to get us to the next level. Much better options and I look forward to seeing them this fall. Go Blue!!!!

Mick I agree

whole heartedly. As much as I appreciate what Wilton has done here it is time to move on. If for some reason Shea is not available then my gut feeling is Dylan is leading this team into Notre Dame in September. Harbaugh is going to have very little tolerance for not protecting the ball this year. I am expecting really positive changes in him and the offense this year. Go Blue!!!

Harbaugh knew exactly

what he had last year and I am sure he was afraid of losing such a young team. You can't be a big d#$k when dealing with so many new fresh faces. I think we will see a much more determined coach this year. It should start with spring practices. Can't wait to hear about it to be honest. Go Blue!!!

I agree with

you Corky, the narrative will not change until we start winning. I am expecting to start seeing the changes we need to see in the spring game. Shea moving the ball with our offense showing some creativity should go along way in to changing the perception a bit. Also believe that Harbaugh is going to be a different coach this year. Change was needed and change is coming. Go Blue!!!

Recruiting will not

get better until we start showing it on the field. Even a good offensive showing in the spring game I think will help. Harbaugh needs to pump some life into the offensive side of the ball and the moves this off season points to that in my opinion. The trajectory needs to be pointing up and we need to trust the guys that we have in charge to get us there. Our coach didn't suddenly forget how to coach. Good things are on the way. Go Blue!!!!

Well there you go

everything seems to be fixed now. Let's resume normal programming going forward. Go Blue!!!

Brian your frustration

is certainly showing here. I really don't see it as bad as you seem to be pointing toward a further downturn. His offenses at Alabama were capable of both running and passing effectively which I am pretty confident that we will be better at this year. Our QB play is well documented above and from some of the information we saw from last year, Dylan may be more of an answer than Brandon. Don't believe it will ever get to that level due to Shea being available, but if it does, I believe Dylan will be the kind of QB that can be successful under Harbaugh. Way too much doom and gloom in Wolverine Land right now. Onward and Upward we go. Go Blue!!!

Honestly

I am a little more interested in what McElwain could do with Shea than trying to squeeze him into a under center QB role. Gut feeling is that Harbaugh hired JM to inject somthing new into the offense, and I think that is just what will be done this year. Go Blue!!!

I am trusting

that Harbaugh will hire the best candidate for our team, to get the improvement we need this year. That along with a more focused and intense coach, we should be pretty excited to get the season going, especially spring ball. One thing I am enjoying is there is not one story about Harbaugh on the College Football Page at ESPN which I think is a really good sign. Onward and Upward. Go Blue!!!

This is getting

ridiculous. We are becoming more of a laughing stock than normal as we go stark raving mad on the board today. You are seriously arguing about if Brady Hoke's last team looks like our current team. I remember the team and the eye test didn't fly back then. We had a team that didn't develop or play with any consistency at all. The last 3 years we have been blown out by two teams and we have beaten everybody we were supposed to beat excluding SC in the bowl game. Nothing about that compare to the Hoke years.

I have watched Gary Moeller and Lloyd Carr lose to teams we had no business losing to. The point differential between losing under Harbaugh is drastically different and I do expect a lot of improvement as we develop a QB that can be effective. We saw that with Jake Ruddock as he got better as the year progressed. Wilton was not the answer and if Brandon isn't then Dylan will have to be. My bet is on Shea being the factor our offense needs.

We played the bowl game without two of our best linemen and had a productive day until the 4th quarter. I am not all stars and rainbows about where we are, but I am positive there will be improvement next year, so any of these end of the world scenarios being bantered about are counterproductive. Let's move Onward and Upward with the guys we have and enjoy this whole ride. Stop giving all of the other schools more material than they need to trash this great institution. Go Blue!!!.

That is hard to put

that type of label on such a young team. Too many losses and some of the older players were bypassed on the depth chart due to talent and work ethic. I think Harbaugh knew exactly what he was in store for this past year. You could see how he was handling the team. That is the reason this year should be more indicative of what and where we are truly at from a development standpoint. Onward and Upward. Go Blue!!!

Change on the field will result

in the change to the recruiting narrative. Until we get back to doing the things we do well nothing will change that. Michigan is entering into 2018 as the "No Excuses" year and I fully expect the team to be different and coach Harbaugh to be different. There is more than enough talent for us to be successful. I will trust that a coach of Harbaugh's pedigree can fix what is broken and will put the people around him that can help him do that. All the whining on this board about a 4* kid not signing with Michigan will have very little bearing on the outcome of 2018.  We will win with what we have now not with what would be walking into the door this summer. Go Blue!!

Winning is going to be the

only thing that changes these types of recruiting concerns. I don't fault the kids as they are getting told quite a bit of information during these time. Harbaugh will develop the talent and win with the guys that truly want to be here. It amazes me how often the players elect to return to play his final year here. Doesn't  fit the narrative that everyone outside the program keeps preaching. When we see the results of this on the field the rest will follow. Quarterback seems to be the only thing he hasn't done well so far. I am pretty sure he is tougher on himself than we are as fans. Brighter days ahead. Go Blue!!

2018 the "No Excuses" year for Michigan

I want to give anyone that has earned it a second chance but this team needs to be laser focused and prepared for battle next year. I hope that Walker is committed to doing what Coach needs him to do, but the distractions have to go away. Harbaugh summed up the message on the early signing period when he said that the guys that are here are the guys that wanted to be at Michigan (paraphrasing a bit). This needs to be across the board with the team all the way to the coaching staff. I am confident that Coach is putting the things in place for this team to be successful next year. Get on board or get left behind. I hope Walker is getting on board. Go Blue!!

Development is key

As we get more talent at each position I think the narrative will change. Harbaugh has been searching for a QB since he got here and it has become apparent that we just haven't been successful with that. The arrow is pointing up and I do believe that he is getting more comfortable with what we have added and what we have on the team. I look forward to seeing what Brandon looks like in the bowl game on the 1st. I also have a feeling that with a more veteran team next year we may be instore for some "vintage" Harbaugh with the handling of the team. Go Blue!!!!

Bowl Game

I am really excited to see what Peter's can bring to the table in the bowl game. Should be a good opportunity for him to demostrate what he is doing in practicve right now, from what I have read.

He Earned it

Will miss him being a part of the defensive line next year. Should be a good pro as well.
