If you have to dig back to…

If you have to dig back to 1991 for a TV metaphor, a fairly poor one at that, to make your counterpunt, well...  Michigan 35   Wisconsin 20.

Devin Bush brings down RBs…

Devin Bush brings down RBs like lions bring down gazelles.  I swear I've seen that move on National Geographic.

Used to gig there regularly …

Used to gig there regularly (and the one in EL) for years.  It was a blast in the 90s, but Rick's EL was always better.  There was one in KZoo for a time.

Raoul - Family Connection

My Mother's cousin, Bill Basch, ran passports and paperwork for Raoul in Budepescht during the war until his capture and deportation to Auschwitz.  He was featured in Steve Spielbergs, "The Last Days" which won an Accadmy Award for best documentory in 1998.   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0174852/?ref_=nm_flmg_prd_89

My Father was a member of the U of M's Wallenberg committee for years and eventually nominated Bill for the U of M's Wallenberg Award.  (He won that year).

Our families reconnected around the time of that movie (My Dad was a movie critic at the time and noticed the name) and Bill attended my wedding in CA.

Raoul Wallenberg is what I like to consider an excellent example of a Michigan Man.

Two weeks ago, I found a feature on my amp that deminishes the dialoge by 12dB.  It's still there, but you mostly hear crowd noise.  With the 7.2 system, it sounds like you're in the stadium with an couple annoying dudes talking three rows away.  Don't know if all Denon's have it, but it's totally worth looking for.

Thank you.  Many college memories have faded, but that show was a highlight that stuck with me over the years.  Having a copy would be fantastic.  Thank you for offering!

Hey That's Me!

At the very end of the wave video, I'm the trumpet player on the left.  Tall guy with sunglasses.  Wow, that was a long time ago.
