If the intent is to report on the reporting, why not bring a digital camera and take a photo of the actual scrum or himself standing next to Angelique Chengelis eating a sandwich? I mean, how do we know that he's actually there and not just taking bad notes from ESPN Live and what about this is any better than just staying home and taking bad notes from ESPN Live?
I guess any frequent MGoBlog reader doesn't know that this is part of an AOL series in which Brian continues to directly quote and attribute reporters rather than the answers to their questions. Incidentally, Brett Bielema cleans up remarkably well for a pig farmer, doesn't he? I can only imagine that our beloved dungeons-and-dragony-looking blogger still hasn't had a haircut, shaved and showed up in Chicago in dirty jeans and a tWorst State Ever tee and then wonders why he doesn't get to ask a question or contribute to the Sporting News.
Yeah, I'm the one who missed the point, not the blogger who wrote about OMG i'm went to a pres conference whoo!!!1 instead of Grady suspended, Lance Smith suspended, Ferentz sidesteps rape hoopla, Dantonio addresses his asshole comments, Tressle backs off "gentlemen" comment, new rules, Delany still hates playoff, etc.
"The problem with not reading the Freep is that there are idiots out there who will read it, and then they'll go spouting the opinions of Rosenberg or Sharp like it's factual because they read it in a newspaper."
People here spouting the opinions of Rosenberg or Sharp: 0.
Reading the Freep to protect yourself from propoganda (sic) is like reading Hustler to prevent a boner.
"You remind me of people who bitch about the level of violence on network television. Has it never occured to them to change the channel, or to you to quit visiting this site if you find it so tedious and below your standards?"
Has it never occured to Brian and the rest of you drones to just not read the freep?
I never said that's what I want to hear. I was quoting Brian from his post yesterday. If anyone can dig up an unpopular mgoblog post from at any point in the last 3 years, go ahead and link it.
Another negative column begets another populist stance from Brian. *yawn* It's like no one has actual opinions anymore. What happened to "Hurrah, who cares, let's play football."?
I noticed that too. It would also be nice to get some kind of confirmation message after signing up. Or how about a real board like phpBB, IPB or vBulletin? I realize this is a work in progress but Brian's been talking about the new blog for months and yet it looks like it was thrown together in an afternoon by an elementary school kid. I was expecting something comparable to EDSBS or BHGP and this isn't. Brian, dude, get someone to help you.

No, by "drones" I mean drones.

So the intent of "who cares" didn't involve not caring? Too bad.
