With limited info, it appears similar to the Toussaint injury. It could be repaired with a rod inside the tibia and a few screws to hold it in place. If it was compound, there would be a skin graft. Crutches for a 1-2 months and rehab for 6-8 months. I would think a lineman would be closer to recovering 99% than a skill player who relies on quickness and cutting.

As a tailback, I had a double compound fracture of my tibia and fibula in September of my senior year. After 3 surgeries, I was running by February and sprinting by March. Top speed was the same, but my quickness was lacking. After track season, I played football at a DIII college but didn't even finish my freshman year. The injury was a catastrophic blow to my skills, mental confidence, and growth as a player. I wish Fitz the best of luck. The rehab alone is extremely difficult and demanding. He will be a better man after going through all of this.
played OH football for 11 years, got a nat'l championship, but got hooked on "futbol" in college since my best friend was born into it: son of US nat'l team trainer.
spurs in EPL and of course, spread the word- go yanks, SA 2010!
although my fav player of all time is king eric cantona, frenchman for MAN U, you still gotta love robbie fowler MAN CITY- 1. his nickname was god, 2. he once got down and sniffed the timeline as a goal celebration... HA!
and i've been to quite a few cavs games. they show steelers and bengals logos to entice booing during free throws, as well.
i've been surrounded by blohio state fans my whole life, and i'm pretty sure they've earned their recent "shit-talking" status.
i also graduated from akron business school and i like reading this blog- so take it easy on bashing the OH-IQ. unless you're just talking about their fans, then by all means...
I think we'll see something similar to last year. Both players will see the field, DR getting his first season start after our first L. The good news is, both TF and DR are perfect for this system, good luck to both!
remember when he said, "alabama's oline hasn't had a holding penalty in 34 qtrs..." ? i don't think that's a coincidence. not many flags against bama tonight, trust me.
cuz there's no way they just don't see that false start. they even edited to a short replay so they couldn't look like idiots in the box too.
donovan out hussles demsey in his sleep. the only time dempsey seems to care is when bradley has him attacking the net. lets hope all the boys are drinking their creative calcium and it all comes together "Over Theeeeeeere..."
I was under the impression that the new pressboxes/suites were going to be faced with glass, but everything I have seen appears to be "blue" and not glass.
Is it tinted? Are they waiting to put up the glass later? Anybody know...?

How do I downvote? I’ve never done it before, can it be done on mobile? Thanks

Someone please post the screaming bird meme with Gus Johnson’s call. I saw it once and now can’t locate it.
Thank you for this great piece of writing, might be my favorite part of the internet.
Who cares?

Pretty sure they muffed a punt not too long ago. Anybody else remember that?
Where’s Johnson's double move TD down the right side?
You called a pitch to Haskins?
This is a great comment.
Thank you! This comment sums up my blog thoughts for the last 3 years. Also reposting every espn link and Twitter quote doesn’t help this place.

Yes, 4.5 is fast. Saying you run a 4.5 includes everything from 4.41-4.50. This get five fakes.
Agreed. I just said this exact thing to another fan, senior qb hurt and fumbled. Reminds me of the Speight interception a few years ago.
Thank you for the helpful advice.
In reply to DQ, Just curious what grab ass shenanigans you are referring to in southern hospitals?
Agreed, need playmaking safeties.
Hello M2NASA, Etsy reads these are not available. It's just for myself so there is no rush before Holidays, but how can I purchase one? Thanks.

i do not post often, but you sir, just made me laugh out loud.
i watched devine all through high school, he had a game once with 9 carries, 300+yds and 6 touchdowns... untouchable.
