Bo The day I almost hung up on Bo! My beautiful wife some how convinced Bo to call me on my 50th birthday however, she told me nothing about it, all she asked was that I return home no later the 5:30 that evening. At 6:00 the phone rings, I pick it up and this voice asks if this was Ben, I said yes and the voice tell me it’s Bo Schembleler calling to wish me happy birthday. I start laughing and telling the voice what a funny gag this was and going through a list of friend who would do such funny gag. In mid list this voice rises and said “Goddam, you better not hang up on me”, then I knew it was Bo! We talked for ten of the greatest minutes of my life, his last comment to me was “you got one hell of a wife”, he was never so right. I will always miss Bo.
Bunting I think he had a minor injury that prevented his full participation in fall camp, I think he came back the final week of fall camp.
QB Look, Wilton was not as crisp as he needed to be, but let's be fair, the 1st int. Was not his fault, in fact I blame The WR for a lazy attempt to catch the ball. It might have be high but when you get two hands on it you must catch the ball. The problem I had with wilton was his lack of timing, that frustrated me, but keep in mind this was the first game.
Your kidding? With whom is Harbaugh's act growing thin?
Best player Ambry Thomas, in my opinion how this young man was not a five star is beyond me, equally remarkable no one is even talking about him here at mgoblog? This young man may look like a sweet young man but he, as they say plays with some "DOG".
I must say there has to be so I must say there has to be so many frustrated coaches in the world these days, looking off the safety and looking to the next level are not mechanical issues? In fact if you watched the film then you see very few issues at all! This kid should have been a five star, and anyone who thinks differently has no idea what a good football player he is. Look, I hate the direction that college football is going, not only are we making millions of dollars on the back of these young man, but we also need to make them a part of this meat market called star gazing, and constantly reviewing their talents by people who are not capable of doing so. I think the Michigan coaches are up to the task and have proven skills and knowledge to do so! So, let's leave it to them.
