Had to do with the original scheduling of the semi-finals. They were booked for Dec. 31, and the NCAA wants at least one week between Semis and Finals, so that rules out Monday Jan 6. they then scheduled the final for the 13th. Much later on, they moved the Semis to the 28th. Don’t remember the reason for that, but at that point it was too late to get the Superdome for the 6th.
At this point, OSU losing once doesn’t help us. Even OSU losing twice before our game doesn’t matter, because they would hold the tiebreaker with a win. So i’m Rooting for MSU to lose and for another 6-7 win season For them
