I agree, if he becomes a Grant Mason type of player or better, that would fare well. On the other hand, Darnell Hood and Anton Campbell were both good special team players. Even though they didn't become solid starters, they certainly weren't useless. In the event Greg Brown doesn't become a starter, he can still provide value and earn a degree. It's a relatively low ceiling/high floor play that may pay dividends or may not in terms of production, but I don't think he's the type to become an off-the-field liability.
