Roy Jones Jr is a legend here in Pensacola! He and a couple of his sons play in a basketball league on the navy base, and they've knocked my squadron out of the playoffs each of the last two years.
Scouting report: deadly jumper with range you have to respect well beyond the 3pt line, though he absolutely cannot create his own shot. Also barely plays defense, refusing get back on D for anything remotely resembling a fast break. He hobbles around on knees that barely seem to function, but still gives them a solid 25 mpg.
Shelton's month-long Babe Ruth impression is what I instantly thought of when I saw this post. I'm not even a Tigs fan, but extrapolating his XBH pace and wondering how long he could sustain it after each game was a lot of fun.
I saw the play Meyer broke down on Fox live and while it might be a good demonstration of defensive tactics, the blatantly wide open WR running the corner route makes me cringe. Thank goodness Book bailed on a decent pocket when his first read wasn't immediately there for him
Oddly enough, I had the opposite happen to me yesterday at a golf course near Destin, FL
I was wearing a UM half zip on the practice green and 2 separate Sharty fans went out of their way to say how bad the game was the day before. They were both friendly old snowbirds...but I still rubbed it in a bit.
Oh great...my squadron’s biggest intramural sports rival is MATSG, and I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before Noah checks in and starts dominating us out there
From Gold Rush of course. Always been a huge fan of that guy and his stache. Back in the summer I actually tried looking up if the longsnapping Cheeseman was his son but was never able to figure it out.
PS I literally created an account just to reply to this! Not every day you get a Gene Cheeseman sighting!

I could definitely see him being a good ballplayer 20-30 years ago. His kids are extremely athletic
