Get rid of the play-ins we have now. Then you run a 1 week 16 team tournament for two #10 seeds. Top two teams get in, so there are only 3 games played. I think that would be much more exciting than the play-in games they have now.
It expands the field - but no one would want to be in the last group of 16 teams that have to go through a gauntlet just to make the primary tourney.
I think the logic is flawed because pro franchises actually get a return off the money they pay their players, since it's helping their business fill seats/sell apparel/etc. NIL deals are literally just being funded primarily from a few ultra-wealthy dudes trying to make their favorite team more enjoyable to watch. I don't actually think its going to be sustainable outside of the teams that are able to compete for a national championship every year.

You are correct about average prices. They are definitely trying to manipulate that number and you see it in the volatility. Avg Prices have gone from 2.7k, 3.1k, 3.3k, 2.9k and 3.5k (order from 9am yesterday to 12pm today)
One question about an important nuance. I would assume the school is underwriting the tickets and the broker is just acting on their behalf trying to maximize the school's margin. The broker then just takes a commission of the profits?
OR, does the broker underwrite any of the risk of selling?
