I'm skipping the Bowl game…

I'm skipping the Bowl game too. Now that a Team Captain cant be bother to play why I should waste my time and watch it?

"Well the capitalist in me says blah blah blah". Well let me put this is real capitalism lingo for you.

We as fans and alumni put our money where our mouth is. We buy the merch, we buy tickets go to the games, we pay to watch these games on TV or streaming all while we donate $ to the U and the team. So whats our ROI? 1-14 vs OSU and a team Captain that cant be bothered to play a bowl game he deems "meaningless" hoping he can be a 4th round draft pick?! This is a bad investment and one im tired of investing in. Just wait until a Heisman winner skips a Bowl/playoff game because at this rate its not a matter of "if" but rather "when".

Lets ask the 1970, 1972-74 teams that all had 1 loss and didnt go to a Bowl what they think of a Captain skipping the Bowl Game for greener pastures.

My solution is to limit the number of Bowl games. Make them special again. How many bowls do you watch that are half empty? No more 6-6 Bowl teams. 8 win min to qualify with no guarantee you even go to one.

Show me, win a road game…

Show me, win a road game against a ranked team and only then will I buy into the hype.

All of his kicks were odd…

All of his kicks were odd Saturday, couple of knuckle balls too. He might be a kid that the pressure gets to or has a hard time keeping focus Or just needs a good mentor.

Michigan cannot continue to…

Michigan cannot continue to start a game flat like that especially on the road. MSU and OSU have much more talent than NW to attempt to recover from a 17 point deficit.

Oh love the flashback! Thank…

Oh love the flashback! Thank you. Its amazing how much I miss hat opening.

Why I hate Scott Frost? 30…

Why I hate Scott Frost? 30 seconds of puke. jump to 7:20 suffer to 8:10

for what its worth, as…

for what its worth, as putrid as the team looked, they still had a chance to tie it up at the end. remember it was 21-3 for a few seconds.

sure, Michigan was a national power but that ended with the App St loss. Its been a tough 14 years and I dont understand how anyone can have lofty expectations of a NC title when youre not, and have not, been competing for a Conf championship.

how about win some road games against good teams first. Maybe start beating your rivals. Then start beating ranked teams, then win the division a couple times.

honestly, 1997 was a fluke. Just because Michigan went 8-4'ish three years in a row then won the NC doesnt mean that will ever happen again.

I concede that anything can happen but youre just going to drive yourself crazy expecting a NC team when they perform like a generic-bowl team year after year.

**looks at his points**

**looks at his points**

but there's a "right way"…

but there's a "right way" and a "wrong way" to disagree. Look at my Points... clearly I did it the "wrong way" once upon a time and I dont post often or even log in to comment except during a football season. I just like to read the articles and look at pretty graphs.

Ya know, we heard about all…

Ya know, we heard about all these changes. Building the O around Patterson, vastly improved Oline, new coaching philosophy.... and it was the same ol same ol. Run left, run right, pass, punt.

Comments made by my son who hates football and after 15 years decided to watch a game with me: "They ran the ball again? shouldnt they mix it up a bit?", "That QB (patterson) looks like a deer in the headlights", "I though you said the Defense (michigan) was good?". "times running out, shouldnt they be moving faster to score?".

8-4 with the traditional…

8-4 with the traditional bowl loss.

I guess I'm throwing all the hype out until M wins a big game on the road.

I think most fans would…

I think most fans would agree with all of you but there are only so many numbers available. I hate seeing duplicate numbers on players and do we really want to see a jersey with "7/8"? (think futurama blernsball episode).

I have to ask, what is he…

I have to ask, what is he doing, or not doing, that is putting him at risk to break his foot?

I haven't been this excited…

I haven't been this excited for Michigan Football in a long time. The last couple years have been disappointing especially at the QB position.

Reporter: Coach why did you

Reporter: Coach why did you let a team leader drive a stake into the playing field before the game, what was the intent?

Hoke: First off, thanks for coming. We had a good week of practice, lots of energy  and we really spent a lot of time on fundementals . The stake was a symbol only for our team to understand and If we had won it would have been no big deal but now that we've lost im sorry you are ignorant.

Reporter: Coach, your sorry only because it blew up in your face?

Hoke: First off, thanks for coming. We have a good week of practice, lots of energy and we really spent a lot of time on fundementals. Some of our injured guys were able to rest up. And yes, im sorry you and sparty are ignorant.

Reporter: Speaking of injuries...

Hoke: I dont

Reporter: But you brought them up...

Hoke Brought what up?

Reporter: The injuries.

Hoke, Yes, I dont talk about them.

Reporter: But you mentioned the injuries.

Hoke: Someone doesnt listen well.

Whats he dancing for, beating

Whats he dancing for, beating a pathetic PSU team? Undisciplined and we wonder why they lose.

Try showing some class and stop dancing on the field during a game. Youre making yourself and the team look like clowns.

Didnt watch the game but saw

Didnt watch the game but saw some pics later and Hated them. Looked like a stunt via Oregon. Whats next a Blue playing field?

First of all, if the players

First of all, if the players are going to whine about not having a full stadium they only have themselves to blame. Fair-weather fans dont watch losers and this year Michigan is a team full of losers.

Second, if the players are going to whine about not having a full stadium they need to remember 'they' didnt fill those seats, previous Big Ten Championship teams did, previous National Championship Teams did and previous Heisman Trophy Winners did. Their goal should be to win and keep the seats full but after reading all the player quotes they sound like they are playing little league T-ball where no score is kept and they get a trophy for just showing up.

Third, if the players are going to whine about not having a full stadium then this tells me they are more concerned about anything and everything except PSU. They should be focused on PSU and getting ready to play for once.

And frankly, a kickoff boycott is a bad joke. Show some balls people, dont go halfassed. Boycott the entire game/season or dont bother.

I miss Michigan football, it died around 2006.

I've followed Michigan

I've followed Michigan Football since the mid ten-year war as kid. Over the course of that time ive never seen the program so mishandled, so unglued and a coaching staff that is so horrible. They are getting worse every day.

How did no one on the staff not seen that hit? Especialy the QB coach and back up QBs? And this third stinger Bellemy who pulled a Thurman Thomas and couldnt find his helmet. What kind of coaching is that? Embarassing.

I used to look forward to Michigan games and have been to seveal dozen over the years because I knew Michigan would compete, win or lose, they would always compete. Now... the last ten years have just been painful to watch a once stong school of tradition, pride and competitiveness slip down the ladder to... this... I dont even have words for it.

With recruits acting like rats leaving a sinking ship, a cluless head coach, a coaching staff thats not watching players (but watching the game), an embarassing ad of giving away tickets with Coke... is this rock bottom? If not I hate to see whats next.

Why is coaching a

Why is coaching a concern?

Brady Hoke at Michigan

2011 11-2. Won Sugar Bowl, lost to MSU

2012  8-5. Lost Outback Bowl, Lost to MSU & OSU

2013  7-6. Lost Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, Lost to MSU & OSU

2014, already lost to ND and we still have a long painful season to watch.

Oh and NO Big Ten Championships since 2004 and that was a co-championship. 10 years!

The program is going backward and Brady Hoke aint the guy to turn it around. His record speaks for itself.
