I honestly think the…

I honestly think the position we need a transfer for the most is the 3. We need an athletic wing that can shoot. With Livers, Chaundee, and Wagner all gone, that is the position we need experience and talent at.

Bigs - Dickinson will get 30, Diabate and Brandon Johns both have the ability to play PF and can play Center for some minutes. TWill offers another option at the 4 along with Houstan and Tschetter coming in

Guards - Eli is your captain and primary ball handler and Frankie is a True PG and I see Zeb and Kobe as combo guards (like Eli) that can do a little PG if they have to and I think Kobe is going to play more than you think as a freshman

Wings - Houstan will likely be your starter because he can shoot! Barnes is going to be really good but he might need a year of seasoning. We have Jace and Nunez on the roster, along with Twill who I don't like there since he can't shoot and wouldn't be good for floor spacing.

So overall, I think we are short on shooters at the Wing. Houstan helps, but we don't have Livers as our stretch 4 anymore, without him that spacing isn't as good and the 4's and 5's we have aren't great shooters. Houstan can't shoot every 3. Get another Wing that can shoot and has some college experience and develop all the young guys

This is the earliest memory…

This is the earliest memory of my life time. I was 4 years old and my dad was at the game. Remember him calling my older brother and I asking if we were watching the game right after the brawl happened.

I watch this game at least once a year and am reading the book about the rivalry for the 2nd time right now.

These were certainly the good ole days for Red Wings fans.

Thank you sir! Maybe it…

Thank you sir! It could help loosen up all the ridiculous fans who prefer to sit, and yell at others to sit instead of standing up to cheer and support the team too.

Maybe if it were cheese and wine being served instead of beer more people would support it

I'm shocked at the amount of…

I'm shocked at the amount of people who would be against Michigan selling alcohol in the stadium. It would not only offer a chance for the University to make even more money, but I personally drink as much as I can before the game and then usually sneak a small bottle of liquor in to swig after every touchdown we score.

If they sold alcohol in the stadium, I wouldn't feel the need to get completely shit faced before going into the stadium or sneak liquor in, and it would make the university more money. If you don't want to drink during or before the game that's great, don't do it. Having the option for anyone who does wouldn't hurt anything though IMO.

Yes, he is talking about…

Yes, he is talking about Crouch and he thinks we have a slight lead

My guess is Keegan or Cine,…

My guess is Keegan or Cine, probably Keegan.

Serious question though, how does one get to Isaiah's new site, the wolverine wire? I can't seem to find it for some reason

Markquese Bell

is my guess. At least that is who I am hoping it is

Rashan is a Lock

I know anyone could say this and I really don't post here so you guys probably aren't going to believe me, but I know somebody VERY close to his recruitment. Rashan is coming to Michigan. He has been a lock for a while. He is just enjoying the process and taking some free trips. I'd probably drink some bleach if he DIDN'T commit. So there's that, take it or leave it I guess

Performance wise he deserves it

But the fact that he left Detroit mostly because he wanted to be the big cheese on his team, and didnt like playing second fiddle to guys like Yzerman, Shanny, Lidstrom and some of the other guys makes me not want his number in the rafters. He was great with Detroit and def one of the best on the team, but he wanted to be the man on the team and that wasnt gunna happen with Stevey Y on the same team. I like Federov, and if he would have stayed a little longer I would be all for it. But I don't like how he left and because of that Im not sure he deserves his number in the rafters in Detroit. He needed to stay longer for that honor IMO

DUDE

step away from the cliff, it builds excitement. If you dont like it, then dont pay attention to it and stay away from twitter?

Devin Bush or Jones

Those are my guesses for who Partridge was tweeting about. We know he is somewhere in the top 1000 :)

I hardly ever post here

But this has got to be the dumbest argument I have ever heard in my entire life. Mitch is "immature" for getting pet snakes? Are you a Bucknut fucking with all of us or are you being for real? I honestly can't tell.

Are you gunna be attending?

Im at 247 and they had someone at the camp yesterday, but nobody will be there today, Im hoping someone here or another Michigan fan will be at the camp today and will give some updates. This is supposed to be a big camp today

I think the roster size is 12

Im pretty sure that the final roster size is 12, I think I read it in an article on 247 a few days ago

ayyyy UMBIG11

You are the only name I recognize from 247 lol

I know exactly what you mean

I used to be the guy that read every recruiting interview, rumor, news, etc. That was when everyone thought that because Hoke was such a damn good recruiter that it would all carry onto the field. Harbaugh has brought a new energy to the program for me. I dont expect Harbaugh to necessarily bring in top 5 classes right away, but now when we offer a 3 star kid I pay a lot more attention to it because nobody has an eye for talent like Harbaugh. There is a lot of smoke out there that June is going to be a very big month for us so I am hoping it will get the ball rolling in the right direction and hopefully all that optimism can be brought back sooner rather than later

I have a 247 account

But somebody made a thread about it back on the 22nd because of a tweet from Trieu who was talking about an article written by Sam Webb I believe, thats why I am a little confused as to why this is just now coming up over here. Usually it doesnt take but a few minutes for the news to come over here...everyone in the thread was just speculating like they are here though

I'm surprised this is just coming up over here

We have known of a silent commit since the 22nd I would have thought it would have been brought up here before unless this is a new silent commit which would be awesome! Lavert Hill is a possibility, but my guess would be Terrance Davis. Sam said, if its the same as from the 22nd, that the kid wouldnt make it public until sometime during the season I believe.

I don't blame you at all

I have a 24/7 account and am a VIP member there so thats where I usually hangout, I just decided to make an account here yesterday because it was so easy and never really bothered to look into it but I like the atmosphere here. I know some people really close to the program and I trust what they say, but I would honestly still take it with a grain of salt just in case

UTL III

The ones that were all blue were the ones I was saying were okay. I (and most of the Michigan fans I have talked to) was not a fan of pretty much any of the Adidas jerseys that were done. I never said I was a fan of alternating the jersey at all, I simply said I wasn't a fan of the alternate jerseys that Adidas came up with. If we are going to use alternate jerseys, I would at least like them to look cool. I wasn't a fan of some of the things Adidas did for the basketball team either. Nike is just all around better and I think majority would agree with me there. I don't see where you were going with all the Hoke and Manball stuff, that didn't make the jersey's look any cooler?

Not really on an insider board

Just know some people close to the situation. Nothing has been signed, but its about as done of a deal as Harbaugh to Michigan was a week before it was publicly announced if that helps at all.

Its already a done deal

THANK GOD. Adidas is just so far behind Nike it's unbelievable. Every jersey Adidas made for a special night game or something like that was horrendous with the exception of the UTL II jerseys last year, which weren't that great either. They were just a big step up from all the garbage jerseys they made for us before.

Frickers on 725

Hey man I have a 24/7 account and have been lurking Mgoblog for as long as I can remember, but your post made me finally decide to create an account. I live in Dayton and I normally watch at my house, but one of the best game experiences I have ever had was at Frickers on 725 in Centerville.

It was during the Michigan Kansas tourny game in the sweet 16 a couple years ago. You know the game. I was with some OSU buddies watching the game intensily with the rest of the bar (The Michigan game seemed to be on almost every TV, and there are a ton of TVs). When Trey Burke hit that shot to tie it, I shit you not the entire place erupted like we were in Ann Arbor watching the game with hundreds of UM's biggest fans. I have never seen anything like it. The rest of the game the entire bar was going crazy every time UM hit a shot. After the game, when UM was victorious, Frickers literally started playing the Michigan fight song over the speakers. I was going insane. My friends were a little mad about it saying "Arent we in Fu#king Ohio??" but even they couldnt help to smile when saying it. The atmosphere was that great. Sorry for the novel, thought it would be a good time to share that story.
