Harbaugh, just freaking go! …

Harbaugh, just freaking go!  You hold the university, players, future players, and coaches hostage.  Not to include what you are doing to a future class.  This is especially demeaning, if you plan to stay, there are easier ways to get a raise.  If it’s to leave, be honest, too much to ask for, I know.  That’s long gone.  Sad thing is with how recruiting works now and NIL money and other factors I get leaving, but hell do it.

This whole thing has become a spectacle to the team and university you say you love.

Is Rutgers in our playbook…

Is Rutgers in our playbook. Run play into 8 man boxes

Absolutely true.  Nobody in…

Absolutely true.  Nobody in media or radio wants to speak the obvious……JJ is worse from game 1 and 2.   Harbaugh has been less then good with the talent at QB than most coaches….why?

When will we start blaming…

When will we start blaming the QB coaches for the regressions or misses on all the QB’s.  Sorry by JJ has regressed.  That is a fact.

Unreal

Unreal

I’m sorry.  Something is…

I’m sorry.  Something is wrong with the play calling.  Something has changed with JJ and his throwing.  This isn’t a issue started today either.  Harbaugh does not seem to make any starting QB better than they were except the transfers he needed.

Matt, I think you said…

Matt, I think you said something so interesting.  Something to the effect that JJ has turned into a game manager like McNamara.  I thought he regressed, but it would make sense that this could have been beaten into him by the coaches.

N O push. Horrible.

N O push. Horrible.

This defense is not good up…

This defense is not good up front. Mislead with those cupcakes. We are average.

No end-around pressure on…

No end-around pressure on the sidelines.  We are not forcing their linebackers to play the whole field.  Playcalling is wack.

The last half of that Q…

The last half of that Q Michigan didn’t get any pressure on the QB. That made the difference.  I don’t even think he was pressured especially on that last pass that lead to the TD.

I completely concur with…

I completely concur with what you are saying.  People on here call you out if you complain about the program.  Something is wrong with this program that no one wants to talk about.  I’m sorry but results on the field speak for themselves.

At 50 I find it almost…

At 50 I find it almost inconceivable that my success is put into what 18-23 year old young men do with the limited time I get to teach them.  We all know that many teams skirt the rules.  Peyton Manning supposedly said that he put 40 hours a week into football to be successful at UT.  So doing it right limits you.

With that being said, it does seem like Harbaugh has not done the best hiring on Offense, especially with last year with all the chefs.  Now we have Pep Hamilton and I’m looking at what he did. I was in Indy when the fires him, rightfully so.  Then the hiring of “Jimmy the Shark”.  I mean is college football so devoid of talented coaches that we just swap back and forth with some of the worst.  I may be naive but I can find 10 offensive coordinators in the TN high school football ranks to fill our void better than what we have now.  My indictment isn’t guess work, it’s demonstrative of what’s on the field.

Something else on Harbaugh. I do appreciate his love I feel for the players, but after reading the comments stated by Peppers, DJ Durkin kinda was a turd and Peppers was very cautious in his comments.  I also see the departure of some kids that to me says there is something wrong there with how the coach motivates, evaluates, and decides player involvement.  Quirky works when you win, evidenced by his useless interviews.  When you won and are quirky people can live with it, but losing like this, quirky comes off assinine.

I appreciate all that Brian and the staff at Mgoblog do.  I enjoy almost every article they put out.  I have been in work places that because of circumstances sucked. Not the job, just negativism about having enough money or other things to continue operations.  I can only imagine how hard it would be to write year after year with no measurable success of the team he writes about.  I want him to know that He is a really good sports writer and I hope he never gives it up, even if it means he doesn’t cover Michigan football.  Who could hassle him over that.

I do pray we see better results. But 4 years into this and we see so many similar things wrong.  Brian I pray you keep the faith, keep writing, you do it well.  I’d read you whereever you go.

Unfortunately true.

Hear aught interviews. These things are about as informative as last weeks paper. I love this guy, but rather watch paint dry then to get him to really answer any questions, some of which were good. I'll take him still over what we had or any other coach. Go Blue.
Fooled I've been on this blog long enough now to hear all the "saving all of our good plays" to realize this never materializes. We are what we are.
Great job What a great piece here. The analytical part of this is amazing. I re-read this again. Thank you.
New site Thank you for all the content you provide. I am on at least 2x's a day. It's a joy to see success from something many of us love. Go Blue.
Finebaum. He talks about Harbaugh pointing fingers at recruiting violations or however he worded. Correct me if I'm wrong. His finger pointing was always in reply to those that were pointing fingers at him. Second. Where was Finebaum when TN hired a recruits sister in the ethnics dept last year. https://www.google.com/amp/www.al.com/articles/19804196/tennessee_expla…
Two points When I was in the USMC I had a Capt ask me if I did a good job. I'd always say yes, I am ready. He would say I'll decide if you are ready, you just prepare the best you can. So I'm sure they did prepare and it is evident they are not ready for prime time. Second point. I don't recall Saban complaining at year two how young his team was at Alabama when he was winning a championship. Alabama went through at least 7 years of coaching issues to include one coach who never coached a down (Price). The michigan excuses are lame anymore. They will bleed fans, rightfully so. The best way to vote is with your feet.
