Let me save you the trouble. I own one and it is hot garbage. The electronics on it die constantly, and are super slow and laggy when they do decide to work for 5 minutes. My virtual display (where the speedometer would be) has decided to freak out and restart while driving, which was great. The lift gate has stopped working multiple times each requiring a new visit to the dealership to fix. Heated seats randomly stop working when you actually need them. The seat release buttons decide to not work sometimes, usually when picking up or dropping off kids, which is great. It might be the worst car I’ve ever purchased.
See a Nissan coming, drive as far away from the line as I can lol. I’m sure there are good Nissan drivers out there, but I swear every Nissan driver drives like they own an Aston Martin or something.
I drive my dream car, an Audi TTRS. Blistering fast, predictable handling, and the cabin makes you feel like youre flying a fight jet. On top of that, the sound of the 5 banger is life changing.
I hate Comcast, but we use Xfinity mobile (Verizon MNVO) and it’s amazing. Unlimited talk, text and data for two lines at $90/mo. We own our phones (two iPhone 12 minis) and the 5G works really good. I’m sure we have some hard cap before our data slows down, but we’ve never hit it. Another bonus of Xfinity mobile is that it will automatically connect to any Xfinity wifi hotspot and use their connection.
Most major credit card companies don't have foreign fees (like Capital One), however I think it's important to note that depending on where he's traveling, credit cards might not be the answer.
I lived in southern Germany for a year, and 80% of everything there is cash only. Make sure you do research about where you're traveling.
As far as how to get money cheaply, I found pulling cash out of an ATM in Germany was the cheapest route. I have BOA, and they are partnered with Deutsche Bank which allows me to withdrawl money from my BOA account without any fees.
I approached Brain a year ago with a new site concept and let him know that I'd help him upgrade at a reduced rate. He wrote back at first saying he was interested and sent me the source code for the current Mgoblog. I never heard back from him again, but didn't continue to persuit it because I already had some other big jobs in the pipeline.
However, here are the major issues regarding the upgrade in my opinion. First, Mgoblog is built on Drupal (which in my opinion is even more of a memory hog and hard to work with than Wordpress). With the scale of this site, I believe another platform (and language, as PHP is horribly slow) would be more beneficial if an upgrade is to happen. Brian, however, is partial to Drupal and wants to upgrade it to Drupal 7/8. I have looked over the 20+ custom plugins he's using for Drupal 6, and it will be a nightmare to rewrite them all to work with newer versions of Drupal. That is one of the reasons the site is as slow as it is. You could pump more money into better servers, but the site is just incredibly inefficient. Even if Mgoblog was converted to Drupal 7/8, it would still be slow if you continued to pack on large amounts of plugins as is done now. Honestly, creating a blog built on Ruby, C# or Node.JS would make this site much faster and more stable.
Also, I see a lot of people complain about the board not being able to properly paginate (can't click on page 2) and not being able to use the pagination in the sidebars. This is easily fixable, as I was able to fix it on the sandbox server I set up with Mgoblog. I alerted Brian on how to fix it, but never heard back. There may be a legitamite reason he hasn't done so, as it could negatively effect something I didn't see, but it's litterally a checkbox change in Drupal's settings.
Anywho, I think that an upgrade would be too cost intensive for what Brian is working with. I think that a complete redo would be way more cost effective, but I don't think that's something Brian wants or will do.
Like everyone else, I'll say you should have someone like geek squad come out so they can diagnose it. However, I've found that android devices usually will opt for 2.5ghz connections because it saves on battery. I also find that most routers people buy suck, and most likely will end up being your issue. Good luck.
Rebecca Blank's salary is ~$500k. I think her salary range really begins to threaten the whole sense that higher education is about educating people, and not lining the pockets of overrated administrators. I'm terribly happy I'm not a resident of Wisconsin paying taxes to employ this "highly educated" chancellor. That's my opinion.
As long as the programmers weren't changing lineups mid game for the other company's employees, I don't see any reason why an employee of one company shouldn't enter in another.
No matter what tools they have at their disposal, they can't manipulate what happens on the field.
That said, I love fan fuel! Started with $50 and I'm up $400.
Seeing as Devin Gil decommited from Miami today, and Devin Bush is thought to be a package deal with him, I'd say there's a good chance we land the Devins today :D
I personally never had any bad experiences in college (Stanford for my undergrad and masters at Oregon State), especially pertaining to my familys background or net worth.
My family is "well-off" and all educated, however my parents had the mindset that I needed to work for whatever I had, so I was closer to a low income student than a trust fund baby. Maybe he just had a really shitty experience? I don't know how family background could come up unless he brought it up.

Interesting you opt for an M BMW but not an RS Audi?

Lol! My Audi came over on that specific boat! That’s crazy.
That has to suck since wait times are like 6 months to a year+.
