Zeigler to CMU Rumor
I don't know the formalities with regard to premium content on Scout, but since I'm not a member I guess it doesn't matter...
To the point, I gathered from some of the comments on the free Crisler Corner board that there is a fresh rumor (in premium Scout content) out of UCLA that Zeigler is going to sign with CMU. Can anyone veryify this? It wouldn't surprise me, but I'd be crushed if it's true.
I'm hoping the author of the article cites Terry Foster as his source. That way I know it was made up.
My dong was just recovering from the last punch. Looks like I need to break out the icepack again.
...that if you tuck your dong between your legs, you will greatly minimize the damage endured when punches below the belt are thrown.
yeah but then he will look like a girl.
...or Buffalo Bill.
it puts the lotion on its skin unless it wants the hose again....or Craig Roh
Just a Big Pussy.
to say no to his dad in a case like this. McCallum may do the same thing.
As a UDM fan, I can only dream McCallum stays with his father.
It's got to be tough for the father in that case--wanting your son for your own teams success, or letting him go chase college success and a possible NBA career with a big name school. I think both Ziegler and McCallum will end up going to a big school (hopefully M for Ziegler) instead of staying home.
I would love to see UDM get McCallum and Sykes, that would put some excitement back into that program. Dickie V would have 2 diaper dandies to talk about for the Tight-ens, or however Vitale pronounces it.
Why in the hell would you title a post "Zeigler to CMU" unless it was 100% true? Very poor form.
Yes, now you've edited the title, which is much better.
It's still a dick move.
Chill, dude. I meant to put a "?" at the beginning when I posted it originally. I edited it about three minutes later to clarify. Lighten up a bit.
OK - for everyone negging me (who probably got here once the title was changed), the original thread title, as it was when I clicked on it, read "Zeigler to CMU" as if it was s done deal. This is something that is always harped on around here, even Brian has asked to avoid such antics. Had I not said something about it, someone else would have. I just find it disrespectful when someone posts a thread with a title that implies something very different from the content.
Don't be a point pussy.
Are you sure you didn't mean "don't be a point redacted?"
There are a lot of new members now. Most seem to be pretty punchy w/ the down arrow. Agreed though, should not have been negged.
I agree with you 100%
That rumor came from an LA paper and they made no mention of Michigan. They had his top 2 as UCLA and CMU.
I assumed the rumor was less than noteworthy, given that TZ hasn't uttered a peep thus far. His quietness has been quite impressive actually. I've just assumed thus far that he actually hasn't made up his mind, and that silence = indecision.
Everyone knows that if they wan the truthiness about sports, all you need is ESPN. They get it right all the time! :P

Yeah. Their college football preview today listed Stevie Brown as an important returning player.
Crushed? Really?
I've never thought that TZ was coming here anyhow, so it's no more of a blow than Terrelle Pryor signing with OSU. If he commits to Michigan, JB will have orchestrated one of the biggest recruiting upsets in Michigan athletic history.
It hasn't been a UCLA thing for a while IMO.
His girlfriend is going to be a senior next year (the daughter of Joe Dumars) at Country Day.
I just didn't see him taking off for LA unless his dad and family was heading back that way, and I didn't see Coach Zeigler as a guy who was going to be headed back as an assistant when he did a nice job at CMU just got an extension.
I wouldn't count out the Wolverines for a couple of reasons. What is to say the senior Zeigler sticks around for all 4 of Trey's career if he has a chance at a high major job in the next couple of years if he makes the NCAA tournament at all.
I wouldn't bet against him going to CMU, but I wouldn't say UM is out of it by any means.
THESE ARE MY OWN OPINIONS FOR THOSE THAT KNOW ME AT SCOUT.
Therefore, I take the OP's rumor with a grain of salt. UCLA has probably been out of it for a while now. I could see MSU creeping back in the picture if Summers goes pro.
