Zach Attack, MLive article about Charbonnet

Before the Michigan head coach was even asked about freshman running back Zach Charbonnet, Harbaugh, unprompted, offered more positive reviews for his performance in Saturday's 40-21 win over Middle Tennessee State.

After watching the film, Harbaugh said Charbonnet was 9 for 9 in blitz pickups in pass protection.

I hope he sees the lions share of carries against Army. Im sure that Turner needs to hone his skill as well, I just don't see how Wilson gets a lot going into the future barring an injury.

This was my initial thought Sunday morning, that Wilson's glory days as a RB1/RB2 are done.  If it's tru that a hand injury moved him out of the #1 spot, then that sucks for him because he's not going to ever regain RB1...  I'll say it now - he gets spot duty behind Charbonnet and Turner for the rest of the year (barring injury, of course).

Yeah, Charbonnet had some nice blitz pickups--he's appears as comfortable blocking as running!  Unusual and wonderful.

So long as he's out there on 3rd down, I'd love to see a wheel route or too tossed his direction.  OSU might be a good time.  Maybe even Wisconsin.

Kid's the real deal. Vision, speed, agility, toughness when he runs. Blocking. I think he caught a ball out of the backfield that, if thrown better, would have been a big play.

Kid's got alligator blood. Pay that man his money (on Sundays).
