I’ve taken shit for 15 years living in Ohio as a proud Michigan fan. I went to The Game last year dressed in bright maize sweater and blue sweatpants and you could see me in a crowd. After The Game, OSU fans didn’t sneer at me or treat me like shit or give me a hard time. They sadly said, maybe next year. Even OSU knows Michigan isn’t shit and it makes them sad because it’s not a rivalry for them anymore, it’s a check mark on the way to the playoff. So yeah. The season is over, and the best we can hope for is a win over the team in Columbus because they get dysentery on the way up to the Big House.

I don't think this is really fair to Sam. He has a specific role; he gets an unusual amount of access and info in exchange for not openly criticizing the team. Seems like a good tradeoff. We have other guys, like Baumgardner, who stay more outside of the program and criticize what goes on on the field. We're better off with both than we would be with two guys who do what Baumgardner does.
Also, it's far from Sam Webb's fault that they look like they do.

Actually we are giving up our family’s season tickets after almost 30 years. And there are 10-16 people in our tailgate group planning on doing the same. The only reason we kept the tickets for this season are the home games with rivals. Guess that wasn’t such a good choice now.

Grow up? That is a bit over the top. Objectively looking at this they have been out played in every facet of the game.
Offense was terrible today and has been terrible all year.
Defense performance the worst in recent memory.
Special teams non factor.
All of this results in a noncompetitive performance. If you are not able to compete in a big time game like this what makes you think there will be better performances in the future? The last three big games have been an absolutely terrible performance.
