Women’s B1G v. ACC  challenge pits Syracuse vs. no.24 Michigan at Crisler, 9 pm.  According to Sam Webb and coach Arico this is the first time on ESPN for the young women. It should be a good game and highlight how UM is a basketball school.

Wow this really is the first time we've been on ESPN. Didn't know if that was correct but I went through the records and we've never played on ESPN before. ESPN2 was the closest.

Great primetime exposure for the program. Gotta do as Top-25 teams should tonight and take care of business. This is a team we should beat tonight.

Women's basketball is a great value!  For a hundred dollars each my wife and I have season tickets in chairs down on the floor.  The team is very good and getting better.  For the first time ever, all five starters are at least six feet tall.  Next year's recruiting class is our highest ranked ever.  Plus, we get to park up close to the entrance at Crisler Arena.

Women’s basketball needs to follow softball.  What I mean is, softball is pretty exciting because it’s played on a smaller field and the action is nonstop.  Women’s basketball needs to lower the hoop and shrink the court.   This will help eliminate two hours of dribbling and missed layups.

Naz Hillmon is gonna be B1G POY before the end of her career.

She is an animal inside.

Down by 9 with 6 minutes left in the game and we tie and go to OT and pound them.

If I’m not mistaken the B1G ladies just won the challenge for the first time. Congrats to the women as the B1G sweeps hoops challenges.

I wish I had stuck it out with the game, though the soap opera ups and downs of Mitchell Trubisky's burgeoning NFL career are quite entertaining on their own. Every time I checked, it was a turnover followed by a Syracuse 3. But the Wolverines gutted it out and got the type of win that could define them.
