lmao as the other comments say it would be almost worth it to have him come to UM and go 11-1 with harbaughs recruits his first year yet lose to osu and then go 9-3 the next four years until the anxiety has him retire again.
Kidding aside...there is no freaking way for many reasons as we've all reviewed. It also wouldn't surprise me if there was some booster (or a few) with a lot of money who at this point are saying "what the hell, why not try".

I also firmly agree with this take. How far this goes will largely and likely depend on the people with millions of dollars sitting around and how forceful they get. Right now I don't even think the regents would have to think about it or address it. You get a handful of guys ready to throw around tens of millions of dollars (or withhold those dollars) they'd at least have to address it/think about it which is something I'd assume they wouldn't even have to do or want to do.

That may be true but it's never a good time to reward ass hats like Urban. Also, there are degree of Money grubbing that I don't think we've stooped to just yet. This move would require a level of knee bending to the money gods that I would find hard to stomach. Maybe that is willful ignorance on my end.

I don't want Urban Meyer. I don't respect him. And I find it sad that these conversations swirl around the same core of coaches. Let's get that up-and-coming genius who has gone in and shown real organizational and inspirational capacity and a small school, who's got the next big conceptual wave in college football ready to apply to more talented players. Finding such a person would take time and guts to hire. But I see no guaranteed winners out there, just overpaid hacks.
