Where (0r) Are You Watching Tomorrow's Game?
Mates,
As 99.99% of you know, tomorrow's game is at 1130 hrs. Normally I'd be at work. No TV at work, the best I can do is 'gamecast' (thank you ESPN). I am torn. Watch that first game somewhere or monitor via gamecast.
Are you making plans to watch the game tomorrow? If so, where are you watching it? Sneaking away at work, staying home, holed up in a bar?
Go Blue, let's have a great game tomorrow!

I'll also be at work. If I can find a stream, I'll be able to watch some, otherwise it's gamecast for me.
Go Blue!

I'll be watching with Richard Harris. It's gonna be a party!
March 11th, 2021 at 10:28 PM ^
I can’t believe Marcus Aurelius came back from the dead just to go to John Bacon’s roast. I would’ve thought securing the border with Germania and establishing another couple decades of Pax Romana would’ve taken priority.
Maybe he’s also here to learn from Harbaugh how his Praetorian Guard can get better pad level out in the field.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:50 PM ^
It'll be a party more awesome than Camelot and MacArthur Park combined!
I can't wait to join the old men playing checkers by the trees.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:56 PM ^
Did something happen with Richard Harris tonight? That’s like the third or fourth reference I’ve seen to him tonight.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:12 PM ^
LOL.
See Seth's MGoBoard OP to the right. He is searching far and wide for Richard Harris, yet he closed his post to any comments.
All Seth needed to do was ask; several of us could have told him Harris has lived in MacArthur Park since back in the late 60s.
thank you for the explanation. and now i see the OP.
well, here's to richard and seth reconnecting.
I was going to hit you back with a picture of Bob Harris toasting Suntory times, but I’d have about as much luck figuring out how to send a telegram than linking a picture on this ancient site.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:21 PM ^
I will listen via mgoblue.com, and also have gamecast on.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:24 PM ^
Thanks for reminding me about that option.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:25 PM ^
Working from home ‘til at least September, maybe permanently. So watching the game in my home office.
This will be the biggest test of my work from home productivity since last March. No meetings, a Friday before a 3 day weekend, M hoops at 1130, beautiful weather. I expect to not get anything done. ?♂️
You think this is bad, wait until the big tournament starts next week.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:31 PM ^
Vacation day tomorrow. 8:30AM Pacific start. Maybe I'll watch in bed.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:43 PM ^
sounds like a budding worker's comp claim.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:32 PM ^
Working a half day tomorrow, so in the words of Jamie Morris, I will be watching in ‘my big a$$ basement’. I wish I had some Michigan fans to come join me - so I will be on the game thread trying to cheer up bluegary and ham when we go down by 2 points in the first 5 minutes.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:47 PM ^
isn't there an 'indy matt' or some such person you could reach out to. maybe advertise a great brunch spread and attract wolverines from all over indiana and southern michigan.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:52 PM ^
Indy Matt is in middle school - hopefully Michigan will be resting up after a victory by the time he gets home!
March 11th, 2021 at 10:54 PM ^
Love the Jamie Morris reference, met him once many years ago. Nice guy?.Will also be watching the game in my basement. Also known as the "Meeeechigan Man Cave".
Go Blue ???
Beat dem turtles again ?
If Michigan goes down by 2 in the first 5 minutes, bluegary and ham will be terrible. But if Michigan goes down by 4 in the first 9 minutes, you're gonna think they're the worst team and coach combo since John L Smith took over Sparty from Booby WIlliams.
Those two give the game threads a bad name...
March 11th, 2021 at 10:48 PM ^
I work from home. The game starts at 11:30, and so does my 1:1 w/my supervisor. I’ll probably play less attention to him than my usual meager amount of attention.
?
in reality, I’ll tell him about the game and we’ll most likely add that to the things we talk about.

mi sooner, in that distracted voice, trailing off: 'well boss....that plan...ah... sounds....like a....slam dunk!!!! woo!!!
March 11th, 2021 at 11:33 PM ^
I roll my eyes like the Undertaker on WFH 1:1 calls these days.
I work from home as well, but my sprint demo starts at 11:00 so I will miss the first 30 minutes. I don't need any distractions when presenting to the CEO and the rest of the board. Hopefully things are well in hand when I am able to turn it on.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:49 PM ^
I’m watching from Lucas Oil. First live basketball I’ve watched in a year. Go Blue!
March 11th, 2021 at 11:04 PM ^
Username doesn’t check out.
March 11th, 2021 at 10:59 PM ^
I mean, I'm usually watching television from my recliner at 10:30 Friday morning anyways. CEO gives his weekly "state of the company" address at 9am on Fridays, and no one really does any work the rest of the day.
Viva Covid!
Don't you have two countries to run?
Not anymore, sadly.

Hope to be home from the wife’s colonoscopy from Mich Medicine at about tip time. She can watch upstairs and make post procedure noises by her lonesome.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:12 PM ^
After arriving home from a recent colonoscopy, I curled up on the couch and apparently asked my son if he wanted to go ice skating (we haven't skated in over 10+ years, and temperatures were hovering near 50 degrees without any frozen surfaces in sight). Then I drifted into a blissful sleep with an ultra clean colon.
I hope your wife has a worry-free experience and can enjoy the Michigan game in a similar post-procedure dream world.

Since I am a real estate broker and don’t actually have to do work, I will be posted up at the Holiday Bar on the west side of Grand Rapids, MI.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:04 PM ^
Me and my boss will be making a few visits to customers.....I'm sure we'll be able to fit in a power lunch at a restaurant with a nice TV from 11:30 to 2ish.

Wayne has the best boss. Guessing the boss picks up the tab, too.

Section 214, row 4, seats 7 & 8.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:12 PM ^
That’s the best answer.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:22 PM ^
Phil, you lucky groundhog you!
I'll be holed up in my living room to watch it, whether or not I saw my shadow last month.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:37 PM ^
I’m gonna get there real early, sit in those seats, then emphatically claim they are my seats, just to fuck with you. Muahaha.
phil, watch out for the dude with the giant furry red head!
March 11th, 2021 at 11:18 PM ^
I know this is a pipe dream, but I'm recording the game and will watch it with my wife when she gets home from work. A heaping pile of nachos is planned.
Three complicating factors are in play, though:
1. I check MGoBlog at least 5-10 times per day. It's my usual lunch time treat. Can I break that habit tomorrow? Chances are good that I'll instinctively and accidentally click on MGoBlog and ruin my best laid plans.
2. Some friend - usually MSU-leaning friends - will inevitably text me during or after the game, especially if we are struggling or lose.
3. My Dad will probably email me immediately after the game, usually with an email subject that emphatically declares the game's outcome.

Game thread here and updates.
You poor soul...Those game threads are horrible...

Living room west coast breakfast game. I've done this before.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:51 PM ^
I'll watch from my couch and then immediately after the game I shall depart for work.
March 11th, 2021 at 11:57 PM ^
In the car, on my phone.

Blimp.
I will be on the Goodyear blimp tomorrow flying over the action. Should be a great view. No obstructions. X-ray vision should come in handy.

In bed! It's on early.
On the Pere Marquette river floating for Steelhead.
you dog! cooler weather again, but high pressure. what will you be throwing at them?
have a great float. post pics of you and mr/ms steelhead.
Flies only stretch we dropped in at the green cottage and drifted to Gleason Landing. Three boats nine guys.
I was using egg sucking leach and landed two beautiful Browns and one Steelhead. Chuck and duck.
Riverside grill for lunch fishing with some Dewars made for a great day. River was high so no site fishing. Frozen cold at days end.
Just settling into Barothy Lodge.
Lookin live from Lucas Oil stadium!
