When does Michigan usually release bowl tickets?

Really considering making the trip to Pasadena, this will easily be our biggest Rose Bowl since 1997, and you never know, could be another 26 years again. I was 3 in 1997, and that would make me 55 if it was another 26 years šŸ™ƒ

I thought about going but not now that Alabama is the matchup - my not going is probably good news for Michigan though because I have a terrible track record of my teams losing when I go see them play live.

I went to the 05 rose bowl against Texas. It was awesome even though Michigan lost. Would love to go to this matchup but the flight prices will probably keep me home.

Yeah, the big downer is airfares.  Detroit to LA is like $1,600 right now roundtrip on Delta.  You can get there somewhat cheaper on other airlines.  But you get what you pay for.  I probably even wouldn't book Tony Pettiti on Spirit, but then again maybe I would.

EDIT:  Just got my email from the AD informing me we didn't get our tickets (as expected).  The cutoff was 340 points.

S.O. And I are debating going or not.

Ticket costs, combined with a 6 month old kid and a 90 minute drive from the Costa Mesa/Newport area to Pasadena makes it a tough pill to swallow. That doesnā€™t even factor in the awful parking there + food and concessions + a stadium with pretty meh sight lines.

Also, a 90ā€ TV makes things even harder to choose.

I live in Arcadia, CA, 11 miles from the Rosebowl, a short train ride to Old Town Pasedena and bus trip down to the stadium.  I went with my son to the 2004 and 2005 Rosebowl games.  I was even a 15 year UCLA ticket holder because I liked the convenience and pricing.  But the cost is so much higher now (thanks Sleepy Joe) on this and everything else.  Besides Iā€™m 66 with a recently repaired left knee (meniscus repair) and in physical therapy.  Itā€™s tough be a seasoned (not old) elite athlete (haha).  Iā€™m just going to stay home and watch the game.

I doubt theyā€™ll make it to the general public.

Just got notified that I got my 3 tickets. Made airline and hotel reservations at the team hotel earlier today. I was able to round-trip out of Chicago for about $900 on American Airlines non-stop.

My son and I have watched Michigan play in every stadium in the Big Ten, plus Notre Dame. My advice is that this opportunity may never come again, so splurge a little on the tickets. Youā€™ll never be sorry about having good seats.

wife and I are flying out for it from Toronto. She's a gump, we planned our wedding around Michigan and bama bye weeks. We will, however, not be sitting together. Debating rolling the dice on buying tickets on game day

The fees on Stubhub, SeatGeek, etc. are downright criminal. I pulled the trigger on a pair of Rose Bowl tix shortly after it was announced. Good seats, so not tooooo upset about the price ($650/ea)... but fees were $200/ea. Bastards.
