What is the NBC tweet?
Hope it's an NIL deal for the young men

The Twitter buzz is that it's just NBC shooting promotional material for their Big Ten coverage. Wisconsin put out this tweet a few days ago
Way to take the mystery out of it, Bucky
The paper clip to the right of B and I is what you are looking for…

Ah, thanks!
the classic double-fail
NBC? Hello Notre Dame.
... or Jim Harbaugh will be on Night Court.
April 17th, 2023 at 10:18 PM ^
Or both!
I miss playing ND every year. Lot more exciting than Hawaii, UCONN or SW Missouri A&M CC.
Night Court, or he'll be a guest bailiff on Judge Judy. Except he'll stand behind her with his arms crossed, glaring at the guilty party.
You mean defendant, right? #GuiltyUntilProvenInnocent?
Maybe they're shooting the intro piece for NBC's new Saturday night Big Ten game?
Hopefully dem boys are getting a nice payday out of it
It said B1G, so is the whole conference moving there? What is the current tv deal?
Yes, I feel like it was talked about pretty extensively on the board last year.
"The Big Ten has completed a new seven-year media rights agreement with Fox, CBS and NBC that is set to bring in more than $7 billion to one of the nation's most powerful athletic conferences.
The deal will begin July 1, 2023, and run through the end of the 2029-30 athletic year..."
***edit to add relevant NBC bit***
"The Big Ten designed the agreement to pair major networks with specific windows on college football Saturdays. Fox will air games beginning at noon ET. CBS, which has a deal with the SEC that expires after the 2023 football season, in 2024 will begin airing Big Ten games in the same midafternoon window. NBC will carry Big Ten games in prime time, which will be branded "Big Ten Saturday Night." Big Ten games also will appear on Peacock, NBC's direct-to-consumer streaming platform."

Thank you!
I don't think enough is talked about how this Big Ten night game deal essentially blocks Notre Dame from home night games.
Sept. 23 ND-OSU play. So maybe not.
I sure hope B1G night time ratings blow ND's ratings out of the water.

If people here hate Gus just wait until Gary Danielson calls a Michigan game.
Danielson frequently called Michigan and B1G games when he was on ESPN/ABC before jumping to CBS.
Great, longer commercials
Jesus they are bringing back Seinfeld with Jim Harbaugh roommates with George!

It's a collection of words, images, and characters which communicates nothing while creating intrigue...

I think the better question is what isn’t the NBC tweet?
Don't try to understand the meaning of the tweet. That is impossible. Instead, try to realize that there is no meaning.

Raymond Redington just added Michigan to The Blacklist.
Harbaugh is going to host SNL next season
I hope Michigan doesn’t to have to work with Jimmy Fallon. I really don’t want to see him overact while taking a tour of Michigan Stadium.

Harbaugh doing the cold open would be a sight to behold.
April 17th, 2023 at 10:32 PM ^
Maybe they're going to do one of those All-Access/Hard Knocks shows that follows the team throughout the year?
April 17th, 2023 at 10:59 PM ^
Not sure why you’re downvoted when every single person on this blog would watch that.
April 17th, 2023 at 11:16 PM ^
For me it would depend on how the season went. I never watched the Amazon thing they did for the 2017 season and I never will.

NBC has Big Ten night games now. They shot a promo for it. End of story

Hard Knocks: Ann Arbor
My neighbor directed 2 seasons of Hard Knocks and won a couple of Emmys for it. (Cool story bro.)

How come I don't see the NY Post, some random Indian newspaper, and Fox News covering this. What are they trying to hide?
