Walter Nolen names top 5
I swear Michigan football exists just to see how far i can be pushed until i break
If the gloves both fit, then Michigan's the pick.
Come on, it's gotta rhyme. "If both gloves fit, then Michigan's legit. " Johnny Cochrane you're not.
Time to break out the ol' Zach Smith ball lifter to start the inevitable teasing that this ends up
I caught a glimpse of that OL from CO who just committed to OSU, and I had a fleeting thought of how there must be some highly ranked recruits out there who are just as tired of the same stupid programs we are.
I think Walter Nolen is one of those recruits.
Logo science tells me you don’t want to be on the ends or directly in the middle. Since he hasn’t worn Florida gloves to any camps, they can be eliminated. That leaves the good guys. - He’s basically saying it without saying it.
I agree that he's saying Michigan but he wants you to earn the answer through analytical reasoning. I worked it out on the whiteboard. Add up all the individual digits on the jerseys and what do you get? 27. What is the 27th state? Florida. Now you might think "Fuck." But that's too easy. It's a red herring to weed out the intellectually inferior while the real game hasn't even begun. Now look at the logos. The first letter of the schools in order is TFGMA which as we all know is the acronym for Tom Foolery Got Me AIDS. Now the next part may not make any sense............
"As of now" lol
One of these
One of these things is not like the other
Tennessee is always involved in the recruits we want. Granted, everyone wants Nolan, but still Tennessee is always involved in UM targets.
We're all better off looking at the memory thingy in 3.2.1...
Bama is Bama, a roster of 5 stars. If you are good and work hard, you're NFL bound. You practice against better guys than you play against.
Then there is Kirby Smart at Georgia, a great defensive mind. Nolan will be in good hands.
Todd Grantham is Dan Mullen's guy at Florida. They had a really down year but Grantham is a proven DC with a great resume.
Tennessee D coordinator is Tim Banks who had some success as an assistant at PSU but is unproven it's his state school but Tuscaloosa is closer to Memphis than Knoxville. I think this pick is to keep the neighbors quiet.
UM has Mike MacDonald and Shaun Nua but his high school coach is buddies with Ron Bellamy whom Nolan talks too regularly. He has family in Detroit and has said the camaraderie with teammates is important. He has a relationship with Kody Jones who's also from the Memphis area, Myles Pollard from Tennessee and Will Johnson are on him as well.
Could be a Najee Harris situation or could be a Dax Hill scenario.
I hope it's the latter.
I had more hope that Najee would end up in Ann Arbor than Nolen. Hope my feelings are wrong this time!
Got that M with the fingers.
We have a great chance here. It'll come down to how bad he wants to play with our other recruits.
Adding Ja'Kobi Albert and Keon Sabb would help.
Do we have a legitimate shot with Sabb?
We are "warm" on the list. And apparently Steve Clinkscale has made him a high priority. Things, supposedly, went real good on his June 22 visit, and communication between he and Coach Clink is stepped up. He never was solid with Clemson. But I can't confirm that for you.
The M glove fit, so Walter will commit!
With Jones and Pollard already in the class, optimism is valid for Nolen. On the one hand, it appears that there hasn't been a hit since Linguist left. On the other, I believe it would be historic for UM to reel in 3 recruits from TN. I'm not even sure they've ever taken 2 recruits from TN in the same class. Despite a lack of wins, the SEC competition and McDonald's bags, it would be monumental to pull 3 rivals 4* recruits from TN.
Alabama or one of the other SEC teams is the pick if you like to practice in oppressive heat and humidity.
