Wake Up! It's Game Day!

Good Morning MGoCommunity! Football Armageddon II is finally just a few hours away. We are all aware of what is at stake today: a trip to the B1G championship game and a (likely) trip to the CFP. But I would argue that equally as important is the pressure a victory today would place on the rivalry from OSUs perspective. Today is a potential tipping point and would solidify that last year was not a one-off.

I hope that Michigan is finally fully healthy and that many who were held out last week were actually available. So, say a prayer, offer a Hail Mary, do a ritualistic dance, sacrifice a small animal. What ever it is that you do, do it. Michigan needs to be at full strength to come out victorious in Columbus. I'm sticking with my same bold prediction I've had for weeks because why the hell not?....JJ is going to finally hit 2 deep shots and throw for over 300. The defense shows some exotic blitzes and gets to Stroud just enough. M 38 OSU 35.

Go Blue! Beat Ohio! LFG!

i don’t usually notice points, or use them…but i have to point out the home team vs visiting team score line in my mgopoints right now.

WE’RE GONNA WIN THIS GAME.

Didn't even sleep well last night thinking/ nervous about the game and I am but a mere spectator/alum.

Oh Wolverines, make my small sacrifice of a few hours of poor sleep worth it. Go Blue!

The best part about The Game-day: it's the last best day for Thanksgiving leftovers!! I plan on finishing them off around brunch time to provide a solid base for an all day beer drinking session.

Looking for quite a nail biting battle today with Michigan playing with tenacity and poise, winning the second half and The Game in a stunner.  Win The Game.

Expending some energy at the gym. I’m in Buffalo NY with wife’s family and I’m always amazed how many Michigan and Ohio state fans are up here. We actually live in Columbus.

It’s 50 and sunny here after getting 5 feet of snow so it’s bonfire, beer, and the wings on the planet today.

I can’t wait for this game!

I'm in Omaha to visit in-laws for Thanksgiving. It's my 52nd birthday today too. My father in law invited my crew to watch at his place, when I told them I was looking for a sports bar. I warned him that there will most likely be some very loud yelling and he could see a different side of my usually polite self!

Glad to have the opportunity to witness this matchup.  This team makes us proud already - one more step to immortality.  It's my wife's birthday and we'll be celebrating in style whatever happens.

Last year I made Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders for the Game, so of course...  I setup the charcoal and wood splits last night, but when firing up the smoker this morning the controller board refused to work.  Screw you controller jerk - I had a spare ready to go.  Changed that puppy out and now we're cooking with wood.  Because when smoking with a charcoal smoker, you must bring the wood.  Just like Michigan will do today - bring the wood!!!

GO BLUE!!!!

(PS - I miss GoBlueBBQ's recipes each week!)

Wouldn’t be a master built would it? I happened upon one at lowes on clearance and slapped it together yesterday and burnt it in last night. I like the concept, but this thing seems cheap as cheap can be. I have a req tec and a couple traegers as well as a custom pit on a trailer but still love me some charcoal. I wanted a big green egg or a Kamado Joe but wasn’t walking by a charcoal smoker for $150.

I keep thinking about how different today would be if we'd already gotten rid of the divisions and we knew going in that there would be neutral-field rematch for the championship next week. It would probably look like a final-week NFL game.

Enjoy today. It may not happen again.

It might take a 38-35 score for Michigan to win the game and I'll take it!

For me, 30 is the magic number for both teams. If the Michigan defense plays it's best game, they could hold the buckeyes to around 30 points.

GO BLUE!!
