Wake Up! It's Game Day!

Good Morning MGoCommunity! Football Armageddon II is finally just a few hours away. We are all aware of what is at stake today: a trip to the B1G championship game and a (likely) trip to the CFP. But I would argue that equally as important is the pressure a victory today would place on the rivalry from OSUs perspective. Today is a potential tipping point and would solidify that last year was not a one-off.

I hope that Michigan is finally fully healthy and that many who were held out last week were actually available. So, say a prayer, offer a Hail Mary, do a ritualistic dance, sacrifice a small animal. What ever it is that you do, do it. Michigan needs to be at full strength to come out victorious in Columbus. I'm sticking with my same bold prediction I've had for weeks because why the hell not?....JJ is going to finally hit 2 deep shots and throw for over 300. The defense shows some exotic blitzes and gets to Stroud just enough. M 38 OSU 35.

Meatballs and skyline dip are quick and easy. Buy a box of mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers and some smoked sausage and cheese. You can do this.  A bottle of chili sauce and grape jelly, 50/50 for the meatballs. Or a jar of marinara, some brat buns and cheese and make subs. 
I bought a new master built charcoal smoker that I assembled and burnt in yesterday. I need another bbq like I need another hole in my ass. I ground some brisket, sirloin and pork together last night and am gonna smoke them this morning for a trial run along with some bacon wrapped jalapeños with cream cheese stuffed.

To state the obvious, that better mean that you threw five pounds of pork in the crockpot last year for The Game.  I have two sisters, and only one came over to watch last year for our win.  Suffice to say, only one of them is invited this year.  Don't tempt the football gods or their voodoo, who have not taken lightly our transgressions in the past.

Woke up at 4:21, not 4:20. I’m charging my gigantic ass tailgate speaker as to wake up everyone else in the house with an extremely loud version of the victors at 6am. Everyone was warned last night, no excuses!

Man, that's a level of support that I cannot match given that all four of your prior trips were losses.  I went to the last two Rose Bowls that Michigan played in.  Substantial investment both in time and money.  Crushing losses, especially the Vince Young one.  We were up 10 pts heading into the 4th quarter and Lloyd went into turtle mode and Texas caught up and beat us by 1.  Lloyd always struggled with scrambling quarterbacks.  I don't know if I ever want to go back there, so props to you.

In the spirit of the post, I am heading off to buy the gameday donut for my daughter with both Michigan car flags on my truck...on my way out to the truck I place the large Michigan flag on my house...that is what I have been doing all season (daughter didn't want a donut last week so I foolishly didn't get her one and look what happened there!! Not again, you get a donut if you want one or not!)

Stick with the pledge.  If it goes sideways today you can recover with some kind of worthwhile activity to lessen the blow.  I stopped drinking for The Game after 2016.  Intoxicated after an OSU loss is a bad head space.  Not saying we are going to lose, but I hedge against by sticking with water.

Been up since 5. Just ate breakfast burritos with my wife while the baby sleeps. It’s gonna be his first Michigan/ OSU game. We are ready and anxious here. Hoping for a victory but it’s gonna be a tough one. If they win today I guarantee it’ll be three in a row next year.

My family has old Polaroids of me wrapped in blankets at the game in the 70s. When I say I was at “the game” before I knew I was at the game, I truly mean it. Enjoy them being little because your gonna blink and you’ll be pissing them off at 6 am with a huge loudspeaker blaring the victors. Such tender moments lol.

I think we are going to see some designed JJ runs today.   

Some new pass rushing looks & coverage looks.   

The O line will be aggressive today and mash some nuts.  

Moody kicks one over 50 yards today.
