Wake up! It's Game Day!
Good morning MGoCommunity!
Thank goodness another football Saturday has finally arrived. I love the anticipation that builds as the week progresses, but there's just nothing like a Saturdays in October. What do you have on the docket today and what are your feelings about todays contest?
I'm up early to get a little studying studying done, then it's off to a home owners' association meeting (blah), then hopefully home in time to catch an hour of CGD/BNS. My meaningless gut feeling about today is that we will look back at this game as a turning point for JJ. Last week he was a patient game manager. This week he will get the deep ball touch back and the offense will really start to bloom.
Anyway, enjoy the day and Go Blue!

I agree that this is the week we hit a long TD throw or two. JJ seemed to be getting closer last week, it’s just a matter of time. We are going to need the ability to hit those in our arsenal for upcoming games.

Yesterday there was an abrupt change in the weather out here on the Great Plains of Kansas as, after 4 months of 90+ degree highs, we barely reached 50. We canned 5 canners of apples for pie and eating for the coming year-with the doors and windows closed! Last night we sat through a light rain and 45 degrees as the local boys roared out to a 42-0 halftime lead. Overnight, the furnace ran for the first time in about 5 months. Our 13 year old, die-hard Michigan fan grandson came home with us after the game (his mother, our daughter, is a Purdue grad)...we are anticipating a joyful early game this morning. Am, otherwise, rooting for Auburn, Washington State, A&M, LSU, UCLA, BC, Arizona and, yes, OSU.
Tomorrow morning we head to Arkansas for two weeks of camping with my wife's parents...hiking boots, kayaks, fishing poles, bikes and golf clubs included.

Been up for a while trying to get a walk-in visit setup with my kid's doctor because he's been out of school all last week with a bad cough (not Covid - 3 tests clean). They opened at 8, and I got through at 8:10 - no appt's left. Haven't been able to get a sick visit all week! Nurse said go to an urgent care clinic. WTF? Why do even have PCP's?
Anyway, I setup my new 4K receiver last night so I can easily flip between games without having to exit the cable service to stream 4K, then go back in to find other games. Gonna turn on GameDay in a minute...

You are correct-don't go the UC with your child-lord have mercy. Is this a pediatrician or family practice doc? My wife, just retired CPNP, says "Get a new doctor".

Pediatrician, and already thinking about the new doctor - your wife is prescient! Yeah, UC's are terrible - they're staffed with the docs that can't get a better position!

Kids robotics build early this morning then a soccer game at noon where I'll watch the first half of the Michigan game on my phone! Go Blue!!

I like the optimism from cGOBLUEm. Am listening to the WTKA pregame show with good analysis. I'd like to see the pass rush be consistent from what it did last Saturday as the Hoosiers pass the ball 70% of the time. Our secondary needs to be stout and break up passes and the cherry on top will be 1 or 2 INTs. Ditto on JJ's deep throw touch, would love to see 1 or 2 of those. Indiana plays up-tempo a lot but Jesse Minter will have his guys ready for that.
I will be a good day for Michigan football.
Go Blue!!

Our heat kicked on for the first time this year here in central Iowa. The trees are gorgeous (albeit not a beautiful as they get up in Michigan) and it looks like a beautiful fall Saturday with perfect football weather is upon us. Go Blue! Beat IU!
