Haskins, Vastardis, Ojabo, Turner, and Moody clearly saw my ratings in August and made a point to prove me wrong. You're welcome. Oh, and Cade, Cornelius, Mazi, DJ, and Brad...a Georgia message board poster had you guys in the 60s and called you, and I quote, "?."  Just in case you all want to prove a point on Friday.

Corum needs to be even or higher than Haskins in my opinion.  Other than that I don't think there is anything egregious here...

Wait!  Why isn't Michael Barrett 99???  The only reason why Michigan is where it is today is because of Michael Barrett!

These are based on the EA Sports NCAA Football 2014 player rankings--and I totally get it, since I've recently started playing '14 instead of '11 (I took up '11 when COVID shut down all the sports). The rankings go to 99, so Hutch is actually maxed up--as he should be. These are pretty solid. I think I'd get Bell up to 91 and C. Johnson to 87. For the poster asking about Corum, that's about as high as a sophomore can get in game rankings.

Your 5-star recruit maxes out at 80-81 as a true freshman. That doesn't mean they aren't good--typically, the overall is dragged down by low awareness and play recognition grades (high 40s, low 50s). The speed, agility, and strength are there early. But the hotshot freshman WR may run poor routes; the hotshot freshman RB is more likely to have fumbling issues. Hotshot freshman defensive players are more likely to blow assignments. But I had a redshirt freshman QB win the Heisman (then again as a redshirt senior!) and have started plenty of underclassmen fwiw.

shades of sparties dissing xavier simpson, back in the day.

whatever you do, DON'T tell cade / cornelius / mazi / dj turner / brad hawkins that georgia fans don't think too highly of them.

Great work, I think the back ups are all a little high, just based on how these games usually do the ratings.

I think Corum is too low, Ojabo maybe a bit high.

Backups are always high for me because it's too easy to recruit over them.

Madden has course corrected and they're willing to put guys in the 60s and low 70s.

NCAA was never able to make that adjustment.  And so you'd have a guy like Raheem Anderson, and if he was a 72 like maybe he should be...my 4* is coming in at 76 and if I get a 5* he's going to be an 80.  Anderson will never play, even though he himself was a 4* and he's got a year in the system and a year of strength and conditioning under his belt.

NCAA never did a great job with guys who had just redshirted. Like Rayshaun Benny maybe starts on half the teams in the B1G...not his fault Chris Hinton is in front of him.  Same with someone like McBurrows.

No. Not Villari.

And no one on OSU would be in the 60s either.

Easy to joke, but it makes complete sense to those who played the game.

Again, Madden has since adjusted and now yes...in Madden you can have guys in the 60s, in fact, you'll have A LOT of guys in the 60s and the rosters are smaller.

NCAA never allowed for that with the recruiting. A generic 3-star comes in at a 71 or 72.

No, NCAA doesn't really have guys at P5 schools in the 60s.  That's Madden.

Any guy in the 60s would just get cut.

The recruits come in so high that you have to bump guys up.

If you have anyone in the 60s, give me one signing day class, I'm signing a full 25 and I'm just cutting anyone in the 60s. That's completely unrealistic.

Anyone know where i can get 2021 ratings for all of D1 schools ? I've recently busted out my old 360 and ncaa 14 and am currently trying to update the rosters myself. Would be much easier if i could find current ratings for players instead of doing hours of research and player editing myself. My 360 wont connect to wifi so can't download current rosters. So annoying. Thanks!
