If it makes you feel any better I was talking to Huel developers the other day and they claimed to be only months away from a technology breakthrough that would allow editing of posts in blogs once they've been posted.  According to Huel this functionality doesnt exist anywhere in the world and if they're successful they believe their code will be widely replicated by other websites also anxious to give posters this currently impossible functionality.

Personally I'm kinda excited to be a small part of something this potentially huge.  And now knowing it's one of the biggest IT challenges facing mankind certainly makes their inability to grant editing rights more understandable now doesnt it?

After seeing another HUEL comment I decided to go and check out their website and see what other work they’ve done.  A click on the link below will show you some of their clients and looking at their sites, I don’t think HUEL is the issue.

The owners of this site are the ones choosing to use Drupal, not to create an app, not to have mods, not to have an off topic board where I can ask other Michigan sports fan what restaurants one should visit during a vacation in Rome.

I think it’s time to move on past the HUEL comments and realize Brian is a great writer, but doesn’t care too much about the other aspects of this site.  It’s not HUEL’s fault.

If that's the case, then fine.  In the meantime, a local company has been trashed on this site for years and it may not be justified.  Small businesses have enough headwinds to deal with,  false information being spread on a large, local platform like this isn't right.

Full disclosure, I am not a small business owner.

I have zero to back this up with but as someone who clicks on all of the META posts, yes; the site is still on Drupal.  If I recall correctly the whole underlying issue stems from the site originally being built on Drupal version X (X being something I've forgotten) and that since they had skipped subsequent in-line upgrades massive change was needed in order to upgrade to the newest version of Drupal.  Said reasoning behind upgrading the version versus moving to a new platform was that they would lose all of the old content.  And that is about all I have on that?  May or may not be the most up-to-date accounting of the backend.

It's essentially the chief academic officer at the University and is usually at the same rank as, say, the senior Vice President for Finance, who runs the budget side; the Vice President for Communication, who runs PR; the General Counsel; and the other such VPs and administrators. Often, the Athletic Director is also at that same rank.
