Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya

Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya

Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya

Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya

There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea

And you became the light on the dark side of me

Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill

But did you know that when it snows

My eyes become large and

The light that you shine can't be seen?

Blue are the <blossoms> giant shoulder pads to memory dear
And blue is the sapphire and gleams like a tear;
Hail!

Yellow the field where ripens the grain
And yellow the <moon> pants on <the harvest wain> Bama's wane;
-Hail!

Hail to the college whose colors we wear;
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue!

The traditional blue/maize combo is great, obviously.  But I took a real liking to the white jersey / blue pants combination.  I will always have fond memories of the Michigan - Iowa B1G CG in 2021 mainly because we won, but also because we looked great in those colors that evening.

Like the uni color combo. Like the simple rose bowl patch. Have never understood the gaudy shoulder art.

At worst the additional clutter detracts from what is already the best uniform in college football. At best it is redundant being just inches away from the official patch.

For those saying the shoulder art is a tradition, M has played in Rose Bowls without it.  And there are plenty of style trends from the 80s/90s that I thought were cool back then but cringe at now. I wish they would either tame it way down or do away with it altogether.

Just my 2 pennies.

These are the '97 season Rose Bowl unis, complete with basically the identical shoulder patch.

I like.

I'm ready to see Loveland emulate Tuman's game winning TD catch.
