This season has been pretty tragic for Reed so far. He looks like a backup’s backup.

This team is hard to watch. The rampant turnover issues, complete lack of offensive identity, lack of defensive effort and awareness, and poor defensive rebounding will keep this team hovering around .500.

It doesn’t feel much different than last year at this point. Weaknesses not improving, awful in end of game situations. I really let that St John’s game get me too high on this team.

Is there a single thing this coaching staff does well? They don't coach defense, don't coach fundamentals like boxing out. And then of course they let Indiana's best FT shooter who's shooting 100% from the line get the ball for the key free throws. Just infuriating to watch.

I realize there was a lot going on over the weekend, but unless I missed them, the Mgoblog staff didn't even bother to do a "preview' article or a recap article of the Oregon bball game. They did do the usual post game articles of the hockey games.

New faces. Same team. They don’t play consistent defense. They don’t value the ball and they are supremely unclutch. The coaching staff needs a complete overhaul.

We are the same team as we were last year. Choke down the stretch and will lose most of the close games. This is a bad basketball team unfortunately.

The Beilein years look like the high water mark for this program. I am not sure we can compete with basketball as a clear second banana to football.

Will Warde do the right thing and fire him? Doubt it. At least not until the program is even more of a smoking crater than it is now. Georgetown should serve as a cautionary tale. Former beloved player comes back to coach, except he can’t coach, and stays around far too long because he’s a former beloved player.

lucky to have never had major surgery yet. Juwan has not physically been able to get back yet. coaching this team has got to be stressful as hell. people need to chill on juwan AND start finding a way forward. team has a few solid players for sure and you only need 6 in bball to be competitive.

I am not really anti-Juwan but I don’t think anyone can dispute that the program is in significant decline at this point. Maybe this is just a low point and we’ll improve, but the unfortunate consistency of the past two years doesn’t exactly inspire hope.

Another choke job. It's their calling card. This team plays hard but is horribly coached. I can see things slowly unraveling as they get more and more frustrated.

We lost, at home, to a team starting Trey Galloway and Gabe Cupps at guard. This is going to be a long regular season followed by a very short postseason.

Postseason?? HA, this team won't even merit an NIT invitation at the rate they're going. I really wanted Juwan to work out and was legit excited about the hire. But holy awful batman, he needs to go. The program under his watch has utterly imploded, the team has no grit in close games, and the players look like they haven't practiced fundamentals since they were in Jr High.
We need a head coach who knows how to team the game, how to assemble a roster, how to develop players, and how to build a winning program. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that Juwan knows how to do any of these things.
