Man oh man, that’s either encouraging or horrifying. Discuss which...

I forsee a similar score as the Maryland game, can’t wait for Horningbrook to be running for his life

I have a feeling this is a game where both teams put up more points than we expect.

My version of Michigan covering:

Wiscy wins TOP with lots of long drives getting yards in chunks of 3-10, but can't break any real big plays. Ultimately a few of their drives stall out after getting 40 yards and punting or kicking longish field goals.

Michigan has only moderate success with the run, but gets several explosive plays from the passing offense that end in TDs or at least get us to Bench Mason zone to pound it in.

Michigan wins 45-30

My version of Michigan not covering is the same thing, but Michigan's boom or bust offense fails to boom and Wisconsin manages to close their long drives out.

Michigan loses 28-23

There would have to be multiple non-offense TDs for there to be 75 total points in this game. Michigan's defense is not giving up 30 to this offense at home. Yes, they are efficient on a play-by-play basis, which is why their S&P+ ranking is high. That doesn't mean Wisconsin is capable of scoring in bunches or quickly. The same can probably be said for Michigan, though M has explosive potential that Wiscy clearly doesn't have.

Honestly I believe Michigan should pound them and this is an accurate spread.  It really depends on how Michigan plays out of the gate whether this is a blowout or a no real good reason nail bitter a la northwestern.  This team is good start believing.

That Michigan money cannon everyone brags about extends to betting too. Michigan lines are always inflated proceed with caution.

This type of movement is pretty rare,  without a significant injury in my experience (6.5 to 10). My rankings I started this year have it at ~6pt game 27-21 good guys. Very small sample size but so far, but I’ve been 56% ATS in big ten games.

Oh how the Michigan pysche got damaged the last 15 years or so.  It is amazing what Jim Harbaugh has done in a little over 3 years to a legendary program in tatters. His team is finally on the cusp of becoming a perennial powerhouse. Unfortunately, there is still something to prove, and rightfully so.  These next three games will tell us everything we need to know about where they are.  And by some chance Michigan goes into Columbus 10-1, this may be the year to excorcise all our demons and crush OSU's dream of an undefeated season.

For the record, I believe Michigan goes to Columbus at 10-1.  I don't have a feel for that game just yet. Also, I think Michigan will pull away from Wisconsin and win comfortably.

I have Michigan going into Columbus at 10-1 and losing, mainly because it's a road game.  If it was in the Big House, I'd have Michigan favored.  Until Michigan plays really well in several consecutive road games, I'm going to continue believing that past performance is the best predictor of future performance.

I know. It's just got to end sometime. I think this may be the year. I think Shea is the difference. Just get the feeling that the moment is not too big for him. In fact, I get the feeling, tomorrow night will be the eye opening re-introduction of Shea Patterson and Michigan to a National audience. Michigan played OSU without a serviceable QB the last two years and should have won at least one of those games. And we know JT was short in Columbus 2 years ago and that should have ended the drought.  OSU looked beatable vs TCU and PSU.  Will be interesting to see how the M Defense matches up with PSU offense.  Interesting measuring stick.
